I just wanted to say I had an aneurysm burst in my brain in January of this year and he was sitting right beside me. I never got to see his face but he told me it was not my time yet and I love Jesus with all my heart. So it doesn't matter about his looks. He is beautiful. The doctor said he didn't know how I made it through that. It was a 4 grade aneurysm but Jesus got me through it. God Bless you all.

I saw this man I a dream years ago. When I saw the KZread I was not fearful but still afraid and didn’t watch for a while. It was on my mind all day. I prayed and Jesus said “don’t be afraid. I was born in Iran. South of Iran in the sun. In 1976 I experienced 53 degree Celsius temperature. But 50 was more normal for our city of Abadan. When 12 I migrated to UK and when 26 I migrated to Australia and have lived in Sydney till now that I am 58 in 2023. Back in 2009 I visited Iran for the last time at the passing of my dad. In my dad's funeral I met a kind man who looked one generation or at least 15 years older than me. We got to talk and I wanted to find out what part of the family he was from and how he knew my dad so as to come to his funeral to pay his respects. We found out that our paternal grandfathers were first cousins. I asked him when his date of birth was and found out he was born in 1965. Exactly same as me! He asked me the same and got the same answer. He was amazed. He said to me, migration has suited you so much I thought you are at least 10 years younger than me. How can we be the same age? My friend do not be put off if a 33 year old Middle Eastern man who does not have the benefit of a comfy home with air con looks so battered by the sun. I have experienced it first hand with my own family and they live in the 21st century not 2,000 years prior.

I completely disagree with the teeth comment. Watching many different documentaries about ancient people one common thing is archaeologists, are amazed at how good peoples teeth were in ancient times. That’s mainly because they didn’t eat, processed foods and refined sugar.

He was not a fisherman, he was a carpenter's son. While carpentry is also prevalent in many coastal areas, nevertheless, one may expect carpenters, even in the 1st century to have wotked under shelter. As such, he didnt have the weathery texture to his skin that most coastal men have; rather a clear complexion and a set of clear set eyes. He certainly must have had a certain charisma and an exalted face and image as a result of much learning as he was able to command 12 men to give up their vocations and careers and follow him and build his ministry. Realistically, an ordinary mediterranean looking fisherman would not have been able to do so. It is important for the world to recognize that he didn't suddenly develop into being the healer and miracle worker he was. He spent a great deal of time learning about spirituality, particularly how other cultures, particularly to the east, viewed God and the Godforce. There are 18 years inbetween his discourse with the temple priests in the temple in Jerusalem, and when he began his ministry at approximately around the age of 30.

I has a book when I was a child (and still have it). In it, they used a letter from a Roman soldier, I believe, who said and I'm paraphrasing because the book is put away, that He was fairly tall and straight. His skin was olive without blemish. He had long chestnut hair but His eyes were described as clear and dark, with great love and power in them. He had a charismatic smile and a wonderful voice. I love the description. And one thing that needs correction: He wasn't a fisherman. He was a carpenter like His father.

Jesus was not a fisherman. He was a carpenter. He must have been pretty muscular. Carpenters worked mostly indoors. Some of your assumptions are incorrect. Jesus only had 50percent genes from Mary. I had a spirit visit with Jesus in 2019. His eyes were chestnut colored and he had more olive skin but not dark, his hair was brown but not dark. He was beautiful, not at all like either version showed on here. He was tall, about 6’5 if I were to guess, and his voice was gentle. He wore a white robe, and he kinda glowed, he wasn’t in the flesh but in the spirit with my spirit, my body was lying in bed asleep. I saw myself lying there. My grandfather was a carpenter -- we had to move very heavy objects around. Jesus was accused of being gluttonous, not a lie that would stick well with a skinny guy. So he might have been bulky. Also, he was called Rabbi/Master so he probably had uncut sideburns.

my friends 4 year old son asked -how did jezus looked , she tried to explain how , long hair a beard etc ..; but the son was not convinced. he asked for photo's of jezus , and my friend responded that there where no camera's back then . Her son was very confused , and he added ..that jezus was so sad going up the mountain.What she did , one day she promised to show him paintings in our very well known St Baafs Cathedral , where the adoration of the lamb is In Ghent , the very well known painting by Van Eyck . once inside he looked around , and watched the paintings , when his mom asked well ?? the young boy asked if that was jezus , she said well yeah , he nodded and he said -but tha is not the way jezus looked , so she replied by saying" how did he look "? and the young boy tried to explain how , so with his hand mimicked -curly hair- and as a young boy showed a sturdy build like showing a bodybuilder pose .twenty years after my friend took course in france when a women at the course told here she was a medium , my friend showed a photo of her son , when the women replied that her son lived in a previous life 'around the entourage of jezus christ . The place you quoted in Isiah was actually describing what Jesus looked like as a result of the Cross experienced having been beaten and injured beyond description even before crucifixion.. Each name of God conveys a different meaning, and Yeshua reminds us of Jesus’ witness to the Jewish people on earth, his Jewish heritage, and we are reminded of how the New Testament completes the set-up of the Old Testament.

I can appreciate this from both an analytical and technological perspective. Theologically though, the need to portray an accurate image is the problem that occurs when you have a God that you believe took on physical form. Suddenly you find it difficult to relate to him unless you can see what he really looked like, as if his appearance determined his values.

This has been something that I have had to inform many people, who would still refuse to except it. Your rendition was startling, would I have followed him looking as he did, absolutely! And that was my immediate response, I even remember as a young boy when my Beloved Grandmother took my brother and I to Church and I used to look at the figures on the stained glass windows feeling something was not correct even then. Eventually this and the way Churches work, including a high percentage of idolatry which was something Jesus tried to expose, eventually broke my relation with him, but he came back into my life the older I got, and I am thank full he has! I will say that it is a very personal relationship and that needs to be a choice if you choose it.

Be careful , Jesus was more than a good teacher. The concern for what Jesus looked like is important in the fact that God did become man. Having two natures: fully God and fully man. To have image is to accept the incarnation. An image in ancient Christianity was not worshipped like an idol, but venerated in the same sense when you have a picture of a loved one you hold dear.

Keep in mind that this is not the real Jesus but a total fantasy Jesus created by AI. It's irrelevant what AI thinks Christ may have looked like. The fact is that we absolutely do not know how Jesus looked since there are no descriptions of his appearance in the New Testament. And Isaiah in the OT was talking prophetically about the suffering Messiah and not giving a literal description of the look of Christ. Besides, I saw plenty of ancient skeletons from the Levant and Israel, and a fair amount actually had good and straight teeth.

I agree! But this teaching, this video is for the people that put up fake pictures of a fake not Biblical Jesus.

It's not for us, who by faith believed in Him to distinctly know how He looked like, but by Holy Spirit who gives us, firstly the conviction, and secondly the revelation of Him who lives on the throne forever. We have never physically seen Him, but by faith the Holy Spirit made Him known to us. There were many instances where even people of His time in Israel, never knew who He really was, and to some extent how He looked like. It took Peter to receive the reveaation from above who to reveal JESUS, while all the other fellow disciples did not know who He really was. Mary Magdalene by the tomb, did not recognize Him for a moment, until Jesus Himself spoke to her. On the road to Emmaus, He joined two people who sounded confused by how He was crucified, until He spoke with them and had a meal with them. In summary, it is not for man to know how Jesus looked personally, it is for the Holy Spirit to reveal Him onto our hearts.

I had always had this inward disrecognition and disagreement with almost all the paintings or pictures of Him, but thought it was a faith struggle problem with the personality Himself. Meanwhile, in Me, there is a sole agreement of His reality and existence. So I first didn't know what my spirit was opposing and fighting against until my spirit finally embraced this image here in peace and love. Thank you once again man❤🙌.

Hi Lucas, I appreciate your devotion to truth! Yes, reading from Isaiah 53 ~ "He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no stately form or majesty to attract us, no beauty that we should desire Him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not." However, we must consider that Jesus did not have the 'beauty' or looks of the average Hebrew male, nor majesty as a 'Samson' type to attract us. Why can we say that? We can say that because Jesus would have looked less like a typical Hebrew male of those times given He was the Son of God and though fully human He was without sin. There are many studies today that say as we age our life experiences are revealed on our face... again, Jesus was without sin. I think He could have been of a, let's say, different beauty that was not typical or respected as a 'male' look for those times. I am not saying He was feminine... just different, perhaps genteel as in well-mannered and polite. If he grew up as a tender shoot and or a root of dry ground, that does not mean the root was dry; but yet tender in dry ground. I am not saying he was Caucasian and blue eyed. He was fully God and fully man... but beauty is only in the eye of the beholder and when He returns we will see Him as He really is.

Agreed. Its very likely that concepts of beauty to ancient Hebrews was FAR different from Europe and (even ancient Greeks, where we get our current European concepts of beauty - look at their statues!) which means Lucas should have worked backwards FROM the final image not towards it! Some also claim that all Isaiah was saying is that he was ordinary, but it seems to imply the opposite - he would have been considered definitely unattractive to ancient Hebrews including the ordinary ones. SO, perhaps the initial image (minus the blue eyes) would have been closer to reality! AND consider that his father was GOD, not Joseph, so that also has to be considered! Then we also have to consider the Shroud of Turin as very likely image of the real Jesus - which I believe the historical and scientific evidence heavily supports.

Always had a problem with the way Jesus' image was portrayed. Being somewhat of a free thinker, the idea of making Him fit a European or pale skinned Jew never seemed right.

I don’t care of the color, what I care he was the living bread and the true Almighty God who came in human nature to deal with human. If we want to deal with human we have to come like human not like cat 🐈 or bird 🦅. I love this guy who is called Jesus, he’s the only friend I have. No good looks and yet attracted the whole world with his beauty.His words of love and power of the truth is his beauty.His love keeps his children still alive.He is the reality of the other side of this world.Praise His holiness all the time..because He is Holy.
