Good to see Lord David on the other side of the fence Dickie, he was in his element :) Good weather for the Harley, it should get a reasonable dense charge in its cylinders to give a good bang:) I was around the lakes earlier today but not on Chug, I was on "leggy push push", Chugs coming out for a ride soon and Strom is getting a new MOT next week.

Nice video Dickie,good to see the Harley out for a spin. The Spitfire is something that seems to attract a lot of people, there's just something special about them. There's a quite a big 'Old Harley' scene in the UK....That footage was taken a few years ago at an annual event i used to attend.... Sadly not held any more...I'll do some more Harley stuff in the near future..Not everyone's cup of tea i guess but its me and i like em 😄👍

Two of the most notable sounds in this world.. rumble of a Harley an a Spitfire, now if flown in anger, it screams.. As you were walking from the strip and riding off, grey cloud loomed over your shoulder.. that looks like rain..! an Hey Ho.. not dampened the day.. directly.. The clips of the good O'l Rolling Thunder made it, few Classics there, plus Cars/Rods. Keep up the good work Bro, Stay safe. Davey

Thanks for showing us around Kemble it look very good to visit and have some lunch and enjoy the aircraft. I had a few flying lessons when I left school but it was too expensive to keep up with. I flew a Cessna 150 and managed to do everything except the final few ft of touchdown, fond memories 😊

That’s a shame you couldn’t carry on with it.. I know it’s expensive… Dave has actually taken control of the spitfire briefly whilst being treated to a flight himself.. He used to fly I do believe..And the we have John who is in our group ( The breakfast crew) who also has a pilots licence but echoes your sentiments .. Its expensive! Fantastic Dickie! Loved seeing the Spitfire! A couple years ago , at a local airport, I did a walk through of a B-17 WW2 bomber. It was so tight in there, that a bigger guy actually got stuck.

The man who ran the Boat Yard where I kept my boat was given a ride in that two seater Spitfire for a Birthday present. Goodwood Airfield along the Sussex coast, over Beachy Head and back on a sunny day. He's still talking about it years later!!😊

Love the sound of a Harley! Would love to see more of your other one too. Hoping to catch the Spitfires at Compton Abbas myself next month.

If you want another great cafe literally just up the road from the one you went to I highly recommend The Olive Tree - it doesn’t get anywhere near as busy as the others. Can highly recommend the Gyros they do too 😋

I had a Street Bob exactly the same as yours, sold it to buy a narrowboat, big mistake. I priced up the Spitfire flight, starting from around £3000, lucky lad.

Very interesting what your saying about Harleys as I don’t know anything about them , so is your other Harley on the road yet , it would be lovely to see it on the road and also hear it bet it sounds lovely. I used to be in the air cadets when I was younger and I got shot with a 202 , it hit my thumb and I still have the scar and the other cadet was court marshalled .👍🏍️

The last time I saw the Spitfire at Kemble it was accompanied by a 2-seat P-51 Mustang (5Q-B "Marinell", you can find its history online).

Good to see you out on the Harley, how many bikes do you have Dickie?, I have 3 Harley's , 77 paucho ridged shovel, 17 tri glide, 2019 , club style sport glide, and I thought that was enough. This was a excellent all around video, Harley's , spitfire , that was amazing, biker film footage with choppers , what more could you ask for. and nice lake footage. 5 stars.

Have a few.. Think it’s an age thing.. If you don’t sell stuff you kind of end up with bikes.. Most of the breakfast crew have a few bikes each topping off with Lord Colin who has……….75! I 😄 Was over a hundred apparently but he sold a few 😆.. Paucho shovel sounds nice .. Remember those Sport Glides shorter plastic headlight cowl and big speedo housing …the Street and Road Glides seem really popular nowadays..The film was stuff I took at Bisley a number of years back.. We used to go there most years.. Proper old school stuff…Glad you liked the vlog ..👍ATB

Haven’t really delved into my Harley’s that much on the channel.. I will do Collin.. The history of that Flattie is amazing…I need to get it finished and on the road.. It was the bike I always wanted to own since I was a boy.. They’re rare as … And to then have one more or less fall into my lap and it live only 14 miles away and kept under the radar for all those years ..🙂👍

😂.. Invested in two posh mic’s getting decent sound quality at last then they both broke within days of each other… So had to use me cheap old one to do the vlog.. Audio is my Achilles heal I’m afraid.. That and waffling people to sleep…Fantastic for insomnia though 😉😄
