In several side-by-side tests with Jackhammer and other popular minerals, deer were hitting the Jackhammer 2-3 times more. Love this stuff!

100% agree with you and Brad about some of these other brands that show gigantic bucks on their logo. We look for overall health of the deer herd and understand this is just one small part of helping that cause. Good video and appreciate all your efforts of helping the hunting community.

Salt, and lots of it does not grow big/ healthy deer. But it grows their bank accounts 😂

Good information John, thanks! As a side note my food plot seed arrived last week. It's like getting a good solid hunting season in a box! I can hardly wait for August to plant it.

@@northwoodswhitetailsfoodpl2663 I got less than a dozen chicory plants to flower last summer out of a well populated, mixed species, 0.2 acre plot I'm hoping 3rd year it may improve? Maybe I caused it by mowing June 1 to broadcast buckwheat? Perhaps the deer were eating them down as fast as they stretched to flower....

I ran a side by side trial with jackhammer mineral, and several other brands, and the jackhammer was always consumed first. A great product!

They real say they will add 30 to 40 inches to bucks with their mineral? That’s insane lol. Thanks for the info John

I’ve heard and seen some crazy stuff through the years in this industry… Would it do that in a deer fence/farm, maybe. But in free range deer, no.

Good morning guys! Here is my problem with any of these mineral supplements, who has done the biological research into what actually helps and what doesn't? What I mean is, who has taken tissue samples and blood tests to determine where the deficiencies are at any given time of the year? I do use that rock you find in the large cardboard tote at the feed mill and have pictures of deer on them all spring, summer and into the fall, however I have no idea why they are on it. I just got a pic from my cell camera now and they are on it. Oh yea, Brad, I have six soil sample bags I have to fill and send you're way so you can give me a comprehensive list of your liquid products to start my food plots this year!! Finally, I'm not poopooing the whole mineral sites, I will be getting a bag and seeing how it stacks up to the the rock that is currently being hit. Thanks guys and for the record, hell with some of those mainstream guys, quality information as well as timely seed deliveries and top quality communication is what keeps me coming back!

There's something about green, leafy food sources that increase their sodium need. At the end of the day, with mineral supplements for deer, it's all about the salt. I think the antler growth advertising is a grift to sell inexpensive ingredients at substantial profits.

Nice. I have a chainsaw that throws the perfect wood shavings for deer. I mix mineral in with the saw dust. Do you think bear will eat the mineral too? Bear hunters are the only hunting group in Michigan gaining hunters.
