Nice Video! I listen to your stories a lot right now as a preparation for my first thailand trip, but your restaurant/exploring bangkok videos are realy great too! I like also the fact that you take the time to show the menu and the prices! Cheers!

Fab place for sure & good value breakfast with friendly staff too 😊 also the Red Lion is very good too

Absolutely mouthwatering. The same quality and quantity for about 50 Baht less in Pattaya at the Hungry Hippo in Soi Bukhauo. And it includes a big mug of tea all day long. The Hungry Hippo has the full gamut of British food from Fish n' Chips to Bacon butties. My regular restaurant there.

Yes but you can't compare Bangkok to Pattaya it's not comparing like for like Bangkok is a capital city of course it will be more expensive

I remember when I ate at coffee club on soi 5 for breakfast and I ordered this type of “English breakfast” I was a bit dumbfounded by the beans because in America we eat beans with barbecue or for lunch/dinner. Now, my beans at coffee club weren’t very tasty but the concept of having beans with breakfast became apparent at that point in time.

Thanks for the video. American here. Never had a Full English Breakfast, but I've always wanted to try one. They always look delicious. I would love to try black pudding. I checked my local grocer's app and they have HB sauce. I will definitely give it a try. Thanks again!

Personally, I prefer the Red Lion Pub, which also does a great Roast Dinner on Sundays! You walked past it on your way there. But lot of choices around there! Great work, looks interesting.

I used to go to the Red Lion for meals quite often they're happy hours last until 8:00 p.m. so I sometimes go for a couple of pints of Tiger

The full monty is almost £9, whilst in Bangkok! Seems a bit steep to me, capitol city or not. Same breakfast in the UK at a wetherspoons outlet would be £6.50ish with tea or coffee. Prices have gone bananas in Thailand this past 3-4 years. I'm aware of 'you get what you pay for ', as I used to insist on breakfast at The Butcher's Arms in Pattaya(now sadly long gone) and their top breakfast used to equate to £5ish, which in 2014 ish was 35% dearer than almost anywhere else. But godamn it was worth it.

Sportmans has all Super Rugby games and many other sports. The waitresses are great.

I been to the Sportsman restaurant a couple of times. Once during a Quiz night so the place was extremely busy. Great atmosphere. Love ❤️ a Good English breakfast anytime of the day with a lovely cuppa of Tea. Nice Video 👌 Thanks 🙏 PETER 👍

Hi Pete this is my go to place when I am in BKK. The food is great, atmosphere is good along with all the sports tvs. Also it is a big meeting point for ex pats. Many who play over age football on BKK meet here so always a great atmosphere. I must also say that the staff there are always really good and make sure that your glass never gets empty!!!

Love the sportsmans bar Was my main hangout in Bangkok last September watching Rugby World Cup and NRL finals. Its huge theres an upstairs area too

Hi Peter, that breakfast menu looked a decent price and your breakfast looked okay, i used to play in the Bangkok pool league for Cho Cho bar that used to be in Queens Park Plaza Soi 22, shame its gone but i frequented Sports Bar for practise its a nice place and great fun watching the really good pool players, thanks, nice vlog, brought back fond memories.

I usually end up in Fitzgeralds ( though I still think of it as Hanrahans). Just down from the plaza on the Nana Hotel side soi 4.

Looking good Peter I was in quarantine for two weeks when I came to Thailand had 3 meals a day no beer didn’t touch the carbs weight fell off me

I love the production value of this video. Background music is cool the audio level is perfect. Also a really cool vlog, loved seeing the breakfast. That hash brown looked great!

Hi Pete, I recall a couple of months ago asking you where is a good place to stay near Nana. You suggested just use Agoda. Anyway we did and found a great hotel down on soi 11. When we got there we found this place on soi 13 for breakfast and it was good! Actually soi 13 had a few good places for an English breakfast and with that it became our breakfast go to soi 🙂

The breakfast does look smashing! But it seems like the black pudding missed its flight to Bangkok. Maybe next time it'll remember to check in!

Sorry I forgot to mention I don't like black pudding so I asked the waitress not to put it on the plate the breakfast does come with black pudding normally

It looks clean, well cooked with good products. And no black pudding👍. The price must be compared to other big cities, and then its very fair.

£5/£6 for a full English breakfast in Bangkok, sounds like a deal to me, you can easily pay that for a thai style English breakfast in Bangkok, nice one Peter, how much is a quality breakfast in London these days? £10 - £15 I would think, maybe more.

This the same sportsman as Pattaya? Cuz I know that one's very good 👍

Peter, I got my new passport in Jan, from the Trendy building on the 27th floor, and they told me they were in the process of moving this year. Have they moved yet?

HP on an English breakfast always

I don't think I could manage to wake up before 1pm. Obviously this menu is designed for the early risers. HP the great British sauce made in the Netherlands for some reason

Yummy...English breakfast!! As healthy and delicious as McDonald or KFC 😆 ..actually KFC is better

That massive Rangers banner is actually the same bar. We are the home of the Bangkok Bears Ranfers Supporters club and they are here every week for the games.

If your going to leave so much would you not be better picking the build your own breakfast 7 items 175 baht

The 7 item breakfast is available all day, but is only 175 baht until 1pm. Its 229 baht after 1pm.

Hi Peter, I’ve been following your channel for several years and I appreciate the time and effort you put in creating your content. Your Saturday stories are a pleasure to listen to on a longer car ride. I could easily listen to you reading a whole book on a longer trip by car. Hint. Hint. The reason I’m writing this is that I truly enjoyed this short clip reviewing a restaurant. The sportsman has a completely different vibe. If you don't want to be hassled, you just want to chill and have a nice meal, then it's a good place to eat.
