Love that! Here it really does feel amazing when we finally get 11 degrees again because honestly 4 degrees is normal from november through to march and it sUcks, I envy your 17 degrees being cold!

Never seen those waterbottles in Germany! Here lots of people carry glass bottles (which seems like a desaster waiting to happen to me, and I have witnessed two actually happening lol).

Such a cozy video! I have a recommendation for you regarding "the sofa" (because you don't have "the chair" 😅) - I got a very simple coat stand for my room and it's life changing. You can throw clothes on it that would normally lay around on "the chair" - you don't even need to hang them, i got one from ikea for 15 euros that I can just pile onto (secondhand options on ebay marketplace are usually even cheaper). The room looks so much neater automatically and you don't have to sacrifice seating space 😅 Greetings from Germany 🥳

This was such a wondeful and comforting reading vlog and definitely made me want to pick up a new book to read. I really like these vlogs because they are always so relaxing and make me very happy!

bell hook is one of my favorite non-fiction authors. I also started reading her in "feminism is for everybody" and I haven't stopped since. I really think you'll enjoy reading "all about love" (not sure about the English title because I'm brazilian), but it's a really amazing book. and also "teaching to transgress" is really good if you're interested in something more about education (against all forms of oppression). oh I could talk about bell hook's work forever. I really hope you enjoy :)

Bunny is a trip, I felt very unsettled most of the time as I was reading it, but I was into it at the same time xD

The only place where I wasn't supposed to check all the boxes, but I did. The thoughts are becoming urges and the internal screaming is deafening, sleep is the only way out even when I have exams 2 weeks after and haven't been unable to study because of little to no motivation. Eating too much is the only relaxing thing left for me. Yet I still want to be out of this everyday hell, I hope to have motivation the next day but it's the same, have been same for about 4 months and increased a lot in 1.5 year. My will to live and the people who needs me are the only thing constantly keeping me alive

Don't know if anyone else commented but for water bottles, here in the US I think the most common bottle name you hear is Hydro Flask but many also have those Starbucks tumblers now too.

Yes the bottles are a Dutch thing. I remember I had so many of them when I lived there and when I travelled around and moved to Italy, I found that no one has them there, or anywhere else.

I loved this style of video! So cosy and relaxing :) have you ever considered doing a bookshop/bookish meet-up in the Netherlands? I went to one a couple of years ago that Sanne from booksandquills set up and it was lovely! It was great to be able to recommend books and get recommendations from bookish peers that weren't in my immediate circle of friends

I love Bunny, and I'm interested to hear your thoughts on it. I too have a version of sencha. Mine is from T2, an Australian tea company, and it is called Japanese GMC Sencha, and I love it so much.

To answer your question: those bottles are THE Dutch waterbottles, I moved there from Germany and never seen them before but as soon as I moved to the Netherlands every student alive owned a bottle like that. After 2 years of living here I have still not bought one, I simply can’t figure out where to buy one.

Where I live (Texas) students (and people in general) tend to carry Hydroflasks. Or at least they did when I was in gradschool. I actually still carry a Hydroflask because they actually keep my water cold for quite some time.

this is the first time I see this kind of water bottle and I’m from Lithuania :D

Never seen that water bottle before but it looks cool. Definitely doesn't exist around me in Australia
