@@catboomer3332 Just cause there's multiple choices or endings doesn't mean there isn't a cannon. Most people have no problem saying there's a cannon and which is cannon for fictional games with multiple choices. The devs are trying to gameify this. If there was no possibility of death or failure, or choices then suspense or stakes are lost and most players probably wouldn't enjoy it. Especially if it's horror.

Nah, not scary when they are a tiny woman with a flimsy knife, just pick up a chair and slam it on them... They are only scary if they use smart stuff like poison, and a whole lot more manipualtion and gaslighting... Or a gun I guess, that would level the playing field substantially for the woman.

Fears to Fathom series is actually some of the most disturbing games because the fact that it likely happened (since it's based on a true story but not really able to fact check) and it could happen to anyone, by anyone really gives me the creeps

Yeah they defo do happen, trust me; in fact watching a game about it is kinda difficult, but 🤷♂️

After Manly's story about his Dad,I kept watching the number of knives in the game and sure enough 1 went missing
How weak is this main character not to overpower that spaghetti arm girl the moment he sees her?!
I'm so glad your father is okay and didn't actually wind up having to meet those intruders oh my god!! I'm sure we would all love to hear stories from you too though!!

The only thing I learned from this video is to never let Manly use your restroom.
So Manly's Dad by instinct knew someone was in their house went to get a knife, then proceded to make the assailants drop the knifes and leave the house with seer willpower through the window.... Chuck Morris lvls Dad vibes

Glad that the whole “break up between two Carson’s” weren’t even important
This really makes me have to wonder about liminal horror. What’s scarier, being lost in a place that should be occupied, or exploring one and discovering suddenly seeing someone and wondering if you should act on it.
Cool how you can see that there is a knife missing, like, not like you don't already know that someone is inside the house, but it is a neat detail to what is about to come
I love this series and I especially love watching Manly playing it
I really feel like this is the first FtF game to drop the pretenses that these are true stories. And I love that. Between Backrooms Level Laundry Dimension, and the pee thing this one is just leaning into the goofiness.

i'd love to hear more of your dads stories!! avoiding getting ambushed just by coming back late to the house is pretty badass LOL
Love your videos. They always relax me when I need it the most
you're the first guy to actually lock the door behind him! i got frustrated and stopped every video i saw until i saw yours because they didnt at least check if you could lock it lol
Manly didn't even notice one of the knives were missing smh he so dead great game tho
I love that one of the 1st things he does in a game he hasn’t played before and is literally at the very beginning, is attempt to play a completely separate game that appears to be in the one he is currently playing lol.
5:20 im surprised he went to the bedroom/stayed inside the house knowing the intruders took the kitchen knives lol

Just pick up a chair and bash her down, a woman is no match against a man in a physical confrontation.
The amount of detail put into this game is incredible.. those segments on the television were disturbing.
That guy asking to wait inside till the rain stops even though his car was like 15ft away, was for sure gonna take you by force
Manly missing the woman in the bottom right corner at the front door had me screaming at him. LOL
and that's how i broke both my legs and an arm when I rode straight into traffic on a stolen bike.
Love the Light and Subtle Humor, Keep it up bro :)
i really like the smooth transition between gameplay and cutscenes
Love you gotta be one of my favorite KZreadrs for 2023 the stuff you say for your videos is just perfect you’re just the right amount of quiet and some humor

Listening to Manly's story from his dad in the start there - yiiiikeeees. Parents and grandparents always have some really disturbing stories. My granny, rest her soul, had one that honestly sounds like shit from a horror movie. Trailer parks, pregnant neighbors, storms from hell itself, and an escaped murderer from the nearby prison... An idea tho? It'd be cool to have a wee episode where you talk to your dad about his horror experiences for the channel. I think people might enjoy it? I certainly would myself at least.
I waited for the third episode for such a long time and it really payed off
