Cool video! Could you compare the latency / packet loss / speed between: PC Main Router via Wifi PC Satellite via Ethernet I feel like a major appeal of this unit is for gaming needs when a wired connection is not possible. Would be great to hear the actual difference in performance between the options. Thanks!

Good vid, the moving thing is because of beam forming. beam forming directs the signal out based on where your device is in physical space around the mesh. If you move it has to re-calibrate repeatedly slowing packet delivery.

Asus, please stop giving non tech youtubers routers, these "gamers" dont just magically learn network topology and how this tech actually works, let alone how to properly test the speeds of an internal network just because you send them something to review. (Running a public speed test site and walking around is not it!)😂😂😂😂

I just wanna ask something I’m interested in buying a gaming router but does the speed matter on the monthly payment or the WiFi router it self?

@@Hassan-bj3cemonthly payment for speeds. Connect the gaming device to the router via wired connection, the router doesn't matter. Try to get a wifi 6 spec router if you have a lot of wireless devices.

I have the AXE16000. Can these be used with that for additional nodes for other areas of the home that do not get a good signal from the AXE16000. I do have many Ethernet ports all around the house where these can benefit from being connected directly to Ethernet. This way the AXE does not have to send wireless signal to these and then these broadcast wirelessly. My AXE16000 is in the low voltage closet next to a large gigabit switch. All I have to do is plug into the gigabit switch the 2 wires needed for the 2 locations that I would need these 2 ROG GT6s. I already have 2 of the GT6s since someone did not need theirs and gave them to me. Just need some help setting them up for best performance if they can be used as nodes with the AXE16000 as the main router. Thanks

Hi how's it going. I just moved to a rural area that is only 20 minute into town in California and there is 2 houses on one lot and the 2 houses are sharing internet but for some reason the other houses is taking all my internet and making me buffer and lag like crazy. Can you help me on what router or something i can get to make my house dominant then from taking all my internet power so there buffering and lagging Please. I'm disabled so i depend And rely on being able to watch my tv shows on Xbox series x microsoft edge and lap top to have my video calls with my doctor that is very important.

question. I have an ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 & 2 ROG Rapture GT6s. I have a large area to cover. I was told by ASUS Tech support before I bought them that they will work together. Well I was given the AXE16000 but I bought the 2 GT6s for the extended space. I told them I planned on using the AXE16000 as my main router and the 2 ROG GT6s as 2 nodes or what ever you want to call them. They told me they will work. Today when I called tech support they told me you cannot use them this way. Both devices under their specs say AiMesh capable. Are you familiar with these? If so do you know if they will work like I am hoping they will? If they do where do you recommend I go for quality support to get help setting them up. ASUS customer tech support is terrible. I read my serial number to the guy 10 times and I swear they were just not listening. Also for your info. I plan to have my AXE16000 connected to my ISP modem. My ISP does not have a built in router/wifi. So I will not need to put anything on their equipment in bridge mode. So the AXE16000 will be my router and I will have the 2 GT6s spread out far away on other side of building. My AXE16000 is next to and connected to a 16 port gigabit switch. I have Ethernet ran in the walls all the way out to where both GT6s are located. So the internet will be supplied from my AXE16000 through Cat6 to my GT6s so they will not be receiving WiFi signal from AXE16000 to the GT6s but instead they will be directly connected via Ethernet. I am hoping I can have the 2 GT6s receive wired internet and then broadcast WiFi from there to devices on that side of building. Will this work and how do I go about doing this? Thanks for your help in advance.
