AG Cook and SOPHIE changed my life, truly. The way I feel about AG Cook must've been the way my mom felt about The Beatles, hell AG Cook IS The Beatles of this generation. I fear he will not get the proper credit for it, but his influence on pop music is slowly becoming ubiquitous.

This is actually an interesting question that I have wondered about ... PC Music artists have a history of playing with gender, turning gender into an art form, making it an integral aspect of the music performance. Personally as a queer NB boi, I feel great kinship with PC Music and how it serves as a critique and a celebration of femininity. But when I attended 7x7 back in 2020, I noticed that the Zoom audience skewed heavily male-presenting, maybe even like 90% ... Music in general has a history of excluding women as both musicians and fans, and it made me wonder what role PC Music plays in this continuum. Who is really benefiting from PC Music's postmodern critique?

She was never officially part of PC music, as in the original music label. PC music is usually hyperpop but there's no requirement to be so, which is why Sophie is usually considered PC adjacent
