I know you put a lot of energy into this and you showed a lot of devotion to the original source, and I really do appreciate that. But, to be honest... Calvin's face and Hobbes's voice scared the shit out of me.

Calvin is wearing the wrong shirt and looks like a terrifying CGI Chucky doll. Hobbes sounds like Christian Bale Batman, but his animation is decent.

...Huh. Just now noticed that Hobbes speaks with little tiger roars in his voice. Awesome!

Calvin looks and sounds terrifying and as a kid reading the comics never imagined Hobbes voice as some guy trying to sell you stuff under a dark bridge

Man this was pretty good! I agree with the other commentators: 1. Calvin's shirt color 2. Hobbes voice is a little intense (lol!) 3. Maybe Calvin's hair could be longer/different shape? Otherwise a very cool, pretty mint CGI! Well done man!

Impressive. But that's why you never put C+H in 3-D. CREEPY.

I actually love the scary vibe from this animation. Especially Calvin's facial expressions.

Definately agree with the other person to say this- Hobbes voice is a little too grouchy or dangerous sounding, while Calvin's just needs a little work. Otherwise, I feel you caught everything well.

it doesn't really matter what they sound like, most people say, Calvin and Hobbes can sound anything, no one knows what they sound like, because it's a comic, anyone could imagine what they sound like, I can imagine Hobbes sounding like a little kid, but its different, no one is wrong or right, I mean AlleyCat is imagining what they sound like and that's good, everyone has different opinions, Who cares if Hobbes sounds grouchy and dangerous, that's WHAT he might sound like, but who knows, all matters is that we all have different opinions and its fine to think what they sound like. Just saying.

That voice for Hobbes is FAR from anything I would have ever imagined him having...though now that I hear it, it actually does kinda suit him, I'll admit.

this is why Calvin and Hobbes won't have a CGI movie but this is SOOO funny my big brother Daniel screamed when he first saw calvin.

Hey I laughed out loud at Calvin's fall! and I don't even like slapstick humor...So that was real nice. Actually I love it as a whole, and would love to see more from you. MORE! MOOOOORE! :D

Adam Juhasz Great - then it's a success for me. I laughed out loud when I first read the comic strip so I thought I'd try to animate it and see if it still was funny. That motivates me to do more animation, thanks! (just a bit busy doing paid work now to put food on the table)

Interesting how we all hear Calvin and Hobbes voices completely different

Everyone has nightmares as calvin the SUPER genius says "BRILLIANT." ^

I liked the little leopard growls playing during Hobbes’ body movements.

...why is Hobbes' voice so deep? I can tell you put a lot of work into this; keep it up!

Strange; people are kinda dissing the production of this video... Although the voice of Hobbes DOES seem kinda strange (as I grew up reading it and imagined it much differently), the vibe/depiction of Calvin and Hobbes is impeccable in this video! Good work; I salute you!

Great detail in the settings by the way! It's really nice to see a 3-D playground since all of C&H's settings and backgrounds are vague and ill-defined. It feels very satisfying to see colours and a sense of the space.

I can’t find one thing about Calvin’s design that isn’t unsettling.

There are a lot of people with corrections as if they can do better themselves.

This is exactly why Bill Watterson did not want to copyright his work and let Hollywood and television make movies or TV shows based on Calvin and Hobbes. Hobbes' voice is so wrong! However, this is still pretty good, it just needs a little work.

Why a Calvin and Hobbes movie should never be made. In this clip, they kept it looking like the comic, but that makes it worse. A 2D animation could be pulled off, but definitely not 3D.

You may call me crazy for saying this, but I always saw Wayne Knight or John DiMaggio as Hobbes. And Tara Strong (doing something resembling her Timmy Turner voice) as Calvin XD

The only thing I didn't like was how scary evil Calvin's face looked when he faced the camera it was almost like Satan was smiling through the screen.
