The saddest part of KZread is that I can not give Claire’s films more than one thumbs up. Not a content creator…. A true documentarian and film maker. Stunning work I look forward to each time .

There is so much crap on KZread. So many people who are influencers or marketers or they post total nonsense and fKe everything. Claire has made her own mark on KZread her content is entertaining be it an 8 minute local video or her usual wales adventures. Her camera work is fantastic also. No shlocky 360. Views or overdone drone shots. It’s class and I like it

I love the respect you give for the universe we exist in. We have a short time to enjoy it so let’s make as much of this time as we can. My father is at the end of his journey and has no regrets. I was able to sit with him and hold his hand this past weekend. We didn’t say much and didn’t need to. I’m 51 but still a little boy losing his superhero. At the same time I have been able to share a lifetime with him. He is still fighting so I have some precious time left. I will always know he is returning to the universe more than he came with. Thank you for sharing a part of our world and your beautiful perspective of it. ❤

I'm so sorry about your father 💚 it's so touching that you refer to him as a superhero, what a gift he must have been to you. He will always be with you in your heart and I'm so glad he has no regrets. I can understand why people look to the stars when they think of those who have passed, because just like you said, we are returned to where we came. Almost like we never really end. Hope you will be ok friend

For personal reasons this post really touched me. I truly feel for both your father & good self. 11 years ago my father passed away, age 61 and I was 31. My mum was 53. I had been to Japan for 2 months working, I was an ex golf Pro & Coach for touring pro players. Arrived so excited to see my parents, called them every 3 days. Dad was my hero too, soul mate and best friend, so I can fully relate. From airport straight to theirs, Dad did an amazing BBQ for us. We laughed all night. Later went inside, parents sat on sofa, I went to fix us some drinks in kitchen. My mum called his name in a panicked voice repetitively, I shot out the kitchen, and dad was staring at me, just fixated on me. I called his name, whipped him off the sofa, began cpr. 2.5 min later, unsuccessful, gone. Never ill, nothing wrong, heart attack. That night I promised my mum 2 things. That she'll never financially need for absolutely anything, and that I'll never leave her on her own ever. She moved in with me, I brought a bigger home for space and privacy and here we are 11years later. I still hear his voice every single day and I speak to him every single day too. I had 2 options, to go off the rails in pain or to live my life in his honor and for 2, being he's no longer physically present to enjoy the wonder's of life. I chose the latter. The pain my friend, never leaves, it just numbs with time. We aren't blinded by the lights and understand that we ain't here forever, but our memories are. You'll find that the first few Christmases and birthdays are hard and heavy, you'll question yourself feeling guilty for potentially having fun, well, I did. It felt so wrong so didn't. But fact is, dad wouldn't want me to be miserable and neither will yours. I live in good hope that you both can share more time together, even in silence, as often words don't need to be spoken between a father & son special bond, we simply just know. I hope that much peace shines on you both and that futuristically you continue to make him feel very proud indeed, as he is currently. Take good care of yourself. With kind & Very best regards, Benjamin 🙏🕯️

It has a real name but we call it “X-Man” mountain because that’s where the x-man movie was made. You can not do it alone but if you ask we will find a “mule” for you. We don’t mind being called mules think of us if necessary as Sherpas for the people we like. And nope not a lover of people not skilled to go into the bush or mountains. But truth? She is learning the most important thing ever. Tell a story. You listened and you liked it

I grew up with in a home in the country and my parents introduced us to camping and travel,I am the only one of 3 children that still love to camp. My beautiful wife of 32 years also shared travel and camping with our 3 children 2 of which still enjoy the outdoors, I lost my love of my life January 31st suddenly and just the day before she was planning our next trip. You never know what the good Lord has planned for you but our 68yrs on this earth went by so quickly and we were blessed in so many ways to have the life we’ve had. I can’t pick out my favorite travels because there were so many but the best were shared with my beautiful wife and loved ones, my days of traveling are going to be few ahead but I thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and memories and God’s beautiful world with me. God bless you from the woods in SC USA.

Thank you so much. You brought back so many memories for me. When I was a lot younger, (I'm 75 now) I used to be out with my rucksack, rambling the hills every chance I got. I still love the solitude of being high up, looking down on the world. I often stand and stretch my arms out, breathing the clean air, I get the strongest feeling that I could fly. It's amazing to be alive on days like that. I can't cover the miles that I used to but I'm just glad I can get out on my beloved Yorkshire moors. I was born with the gritstone in my blood. Watching your videos is like being out there with you, sharing the wild beauty.

You take everything in each stride to show us the beauty of the countryside you are seeing and your videography is exceptional. I never knew that Wales had so much to offer off the beaten track. Camping many years ago with the Boy Scouts took me to the Scottish Highlands and Ireland with your namesake, Timothy Beare who was a scout leader in Norfolk. Camping then in the 1960s was so basic compared with todays advantages. Whoever built that dry stone wall for miles on end is remarkable.

@@Demun1649hi! No i didnt know that. Very interesting. We are from Viking stock. Cotter is the anglicised version of Macottier which is Norse for Army of fear and dread. I think we can trace ourselves back to MacOttier the Black. Who was a pretty wild viking who lived on the east coast of Ireland and led raids into England. Constantly getting his arse whipped because the english had long bows and he only had axes etc ( and a bad attitude) lol! I love history, when I travel/hike here in Aus i often wonder about those who came before. I recall being on a 1.2 million acre cattle station and we drove to the mail box. Whilst waiting on the road i said to Wendy (owners wife), “Id love to see evidence of Aboriginal history here” she said “youre standing on it”… she then picked up a handful of dirt from the road, blew the dust etc away, and she had a handful of spear flints….. quite humbling. Id like to know who built that hut Claire camped in. Was it for a shepherd or was it a more permanent dwelling etc (Sorry for the waffle)
