You'd pay £50 or more in a restaurant for that, and have none of the pleasure of seeing it foraged or cooked. The quality was fine by the way, another nice video :)

I have just discovered your channel and it is amazing I love seafood and I love foraging when my dad used to surf I would be stuck on beaches and then I discovered how much wildlife was about and it made my trips amazing. Thanks

I took no issue with the quality. It's funny how I dislike a lot of seafood but whenever I watch videos like yours everything looks so good it makes me want to enjoy it.

greatwhiteprivilege Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get the notification and I just happen to be rewatching some vids, raw sounds even more intimidating to be honest, i don't know why I have such a reaction to seafood like with mackerel just the smell of it makes me wretch really strong, I've tried to eat it on three occasions and all three ended up with me giving up because of being dangerously close to vomiting and I didn't want to put off the people I was eating with, haha I couldn't even eat the salad that came with the mackerel because the strong taste and smell attached itself to everything on the plate and even the roof of my mouth, was really gross. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks Craig for your reply. I lived on Dockview Road, right on the docks and would pass by the old scrapyard with all those incredible engines. My grandfather managed Barry Island fairground for a while, lots of free rides!. Oh, now your bringing back the memories!. Big sacks of winkles mum would cook up. Many of those old engines have now been fully restored to working order and are in use on many of the preserved railways all over the UK,thanks to the foresight of Dai Woodham,regards Craig

Bloke called Evans, foraging about for seaweed in rockpools on a Pembrokshire beach, wearing rugby gear with his dog. It's the Welshest thing I've ever seen, and it's fantastic!

I'm from southern California and our coastline is littered and polluted. It's remarkable to me that food delicacy such as lobster can be easily found under rocks the same way you found it. I'm sure that there would be areas of your coast that are clean enough to forage at,perhaps you could ask your local tourist agency/department or contact the Monterey Bay Aquaurium, I'm sure they could advise you.Happy foraging ,Craig

Craig, you could shoot your videos on a dilapidated camera from 1991 and I'd still watch every one. I have to say, you've inspired me to go and explore my local California Coast for the first time in my life. Coastal Foraging With Craig Evans the salmon was smoked outside but the weather went from 67F to well below 30F in a matter of hours so the chowder was made inside

Thank you sir for making these videos, I have a fascination with foraging things, learning what to look for, what's edible, ect. I have never forged anything myself as I don't know much, but I get great joy out of watching your videos.
