A first-look at the Canucks' off-season decisions in wake of loss to Oilers - Sekeres & Price LIVE

Спорт

The post-mortem continues for the Vancouver Canucks as we further dissect the Round 2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers. Our poll question today discusses if there's now a rivalry between the two Western Canadian Conference clubs. Looking ahead, we start to look at the pending free agents for the Canucks, whether it's UFAs or RFAs, as well as if the team could get out from Ilya Mikheyev's contract. We welcome John Shannon and Frank Corrado on where things went wrong for the Canucks and how they could navigate their off-season.

“We’re going to hear about an injury tomorrow” That aged well.

Matt ALWAYS introduces audio clips by saying exactly what the player is about to say. He even details what is discussed in upcoming prerecorded interviews. It is so annoying. Just play the clips. Enough with the gatekeeping.

I liked Hronek in Detroit and he did have a good offensive upside. Defensively he wasn't always the best but he was on very bad Red Wings teams. There were rumbling about contract problems before he left and Stevie doesn't seem to be a patient guy. I believe 8 million would not age well, but 6.5 I believe would work for both sides.

Would be overjoyed at 6.5.. would be overjoyed at any number under 7, including 6.9.. would be ok at 7-7.4.. would prefer him traded at over that.

Then I don’t want him, especially at 1 year at 7.5

@@jameskillbot2867 I like him, but not for that cost. Especially, as he is at the point of his career trajectory, that he and his agent will be looking for term.

1:14:30 Hockey Fans: "Canucks fans are the worst!" Bruins Fans: *Throw trash at their team after being eliminated.* Canucks fans: *Give standing ovation after being eliminated, after being up 3-2 and putting in two pretty abysmal performances to finish it off.* Hockey fans: "Hey, why are Canucks fans not being absolute garbage to their beloved team like we are?"
