@@adean4146 most CDs don't 'design' pieces, their job is to communicate a broader vision. It's almost always a team under them who actualize the collection. CDs have so many responsibilities that it just doesn't make sense for them to sit in the atelier cutting new patterns or whatever else you consider designing...

Absolutely love the fashion show . The fact that he brought out his design team in the end is the most selfless act Ive seen. Great team leader
The humility and honor shown by Pharrell for the true talent and force behind LV and his ideas is refreshing. He knows he is working with the best of the best and verbalizes it multiple times. This is leadership.

No one has said he's a designer. Why do people keep on saying this? He's essentially the lead creative director heading up the menswear. LV never promised to deliver a designer who knows how to make clothes by hand. They obviously wanted a certain creative direction overall. I would never expect Pharrell to pick up needle & thread 😂

A fan said earlier to a critic, "stfu", so classy (if you have to google it, please do not). I think the yellow bag is absolutely lovely. LV are producing material culture at the highest level, this show looks to be a lot of fun for everyone involved and Pharrell is so effervescent he is a joy to watch but the marketeers have created an illusion and the religious fervour of many of the comments here show how they have reeled the fish in. Shopping as a Cult.
