Islam is not weak, muslims are. And why muslims are weak? because they are not understanding, following and holding the word of Allah SWT as it should have been in its true spirit. My dearest sister, as we are in the final ten days, if I may, I would like to offer you a kind word. Please do not use the term 'alahumma' within your dua. I understand that you may recoil at this advice and reply that this word is seen in the Quran, yet if you would allow me to explain please. 'Allahumma' is not an Arabic word, it is of Hebrew origin of the term 'Elohim' which is a plural term and alludes to a group of judges etc. As Islam is pure monotheism, you can see that to call upon Allah using a polytheistic term, the dua will not be accepted at a minimum. The prophets and messengers in the Quran all began the dua that were accepted with the words 'Rabb' or 'Rabbinah'. May Allah accept your Ramadan. Salaam.

You can turn on the captions cc yourself. The icon is on top of the video next to settings 'wheel'. Also turn in transcripts. It helps

It depends on multiple things : tawfeek, baraka, your intention and honesty, how much efforts you are willing to put .. etc. I'm a native arabic speaker and I think it would take me a life time to do that. It's not just about the tools man.

You can not be credible or believable as long as you claim Allah or prophet Mohammad is the one who wrote the Ghoran / Koran, and not to say the truth which it was written during a period of many years after the death of the prophet, by several different group of people and based on their personal memories and testimonies of living witnesses, some of which had bad intentions, animosity and material interest and the most were righchus Arbas of that time. If Allah wrote the Koran directly we should not need anybody to translate it for us, and it would not be in Arabic.

There has been carbon dating of the earliest copies of the Quran taking them to the time of the prophet (saw). There has simply been a re-shuffling of the ayat at Allah (swt) discretion to make each Quran identical. The reason behind this is that the ayat were memorized in the oral tradition and some of the sahaba had collated their written copies a little differently. There is also a time when accents were placed over certain characters to assist with recitation, yet not changing the meaning. The final point you try to make is abstract. Yes, the Quran was revealed in Arabic, yet within the Torah it is written that Musa (as) 'explained the entire Torah', suggesting that it was not necessarily written or divinely sent in Hebrew, and the Second part of the Torah which came with Isa (as) would have been spoken in Aramaic and the earliest copies were translated into Greek and Hebrew. Plus can I ask if you question why the earliest Bible available, the Ethiopian bible is not accepted by the majority of Christendom even though it is the earliest? Or that books have been removed? It is not the Arabic that makes the scripture, it is the way that Allah chose to reveal His message. Is that justification to dismiss the message in your opinion? Or is it that it requires people that are not born with native arabic to toil a little more on the meaning? Isn't that in itself a blessing as the Quran says ' Verily man is in loss, except such as have faith, and do righteous deeds, and join together in the mutual enjoining of truth, and of patience and constancy." (103:2-3) - what takes more patience and constancy than working in another language. Plus in my opinion, it does help with focus on what you are reciting. May Allah make it easy for you to increase in knowledge and reward you for the additional efforts you make to get closer to Him. Salaam.

​@@ShonMardani yes, I agree with you. Allah (swt) chose the prophet (saw) in His wisdom. Just as other messengers and prophets relayed the message in their languages. Do you think that Allah (swt) would make an error in who He chose to convey His message?
