I realized in high school that because my mother's father and mother passed away before she turned 14 that I subconsciously had a fear of wasting my time. It is my most dominant love language, "quality time". Not in the context of romantic relationships, but in everything that I do and want to achieve.

Yep... well I was born in 1999 but my biggest fear ever is not having enough time (and spiders come right after but anyways). It’s specially tough when I look at my school friends and see that they’re all almost graduating college and I am here in the other side of the world trying to learn a hard ass language to be able to get a chance to go to college here and I feel like even tho I’m 19 I’m already too old to not have certainty of what I want for my life. I’m walking baby steps and I know sometimes I over exaggerate but I think most of the 90s kids and now the early 2000s kids go through this. Let’s just keep in mind that we all young and we all have time and you’re not the only person worrying about it.

I am definitely afraid of running out of time to do everything that I want. I dont mind getting older, but I hate that each year I have less time in front of me. Which is ridiculous because I'm only 25, but I can't help it.

Lo Omg , this is exactly how I feel. I’m going to be 25 next month and every time I think about the things I wanted to do before 25 and I haven’t done yet, and all the things I wanna do in the future, I get so anxious. I tell myself that I don’t need to rush, that I still have time, that I can do things on my own time and not when society thinks I should do them, but I don’t always believe that. It’s like you said, I can’t help it.

LISTEN... when friend hit you with the $25,000 question at 5:05! 🙌🏾 I have been beating myself up over the last 1-2 years about how I make others my first priority, leaving zero love and consideration for MYSELF. (Which always stunts your success in hindsight!) Yes, “who IS going to take care of you?!” You strolled all up and THROUGH my business! Needed that!

When I was younger, I felt proud and secure in knowing what I wanted to do with my life and the time it would take. Then at 18 I felt I'd wasted so much time bcuz I wanted to follow another path (SO many panic attacks). Now I'm realizing that I'm ok and i have the time to make my life how I want it as long as I'm here 🥰 Thanks for sharing this chat ladies 💕🙏🏿💕

What's crazy is I have both of your biggest fears basically as my biggest fear. Like if you were to smoosh them together essentially. It's so relieving knowing that even people like you and Jo who are kicking ass, still feel like you don't have enough time to do more. I also can completely relate personally Mosako. I started my KZread channel and everytime I tell people that I have one I feel awkward and fake because my quality isn't the best and I don't really know what I'm doing yet. I also am pretty self concious and that's another huge fear of mine, being judged on my physical and non-physical characteristics. But that's part of the journey, figuring it out along the way and not letting anyone stop you because who knows what the results will be if you keep at it? Thank you and excellent video as always girls! 😁💕

I love all your discussions/conversations together ‘cause I can always relate, I’m a cancer bby as well. I’ve been starting to do things lately that I’ve always been afraid to do and it’s a constant battle because I have anxiety but I usually just remind myself that I’m doing this for me and for those people who’ll be inspired as well. Even if nobody cares at least I’m doing it for what it means to me. Love you both! Keep making videos! 💖👑

This video is divine timing y’all. I haven’t even watched it yet and I already know I’m bouta be blessed with some wisdom😭 I feel like I’ve been scared my whole life. Ever since I was young I knew deep down that a 9-5 life under other people wasn’t for me. But i didnt know if it was possible or realistic. I wanted to travel and learn more about the world through adventures and languages (which is why i love shutupandgo!) and creatively direct and be apart of projects like film, fashion & modeling. I’ve been even more scared recently because I booked my first small modeling shoot through a friend and it went so well but not knowing where to go from there scares the shit out of me. I’m practicing being more present, trusting the universe, believing more in myself, & surrounding myself people who vibrate positively & creatively💓

I'm afraid of what time will do to my mind/mental health/mental capacity, because the human brain is not build for how long our lives are now. We used to just live into our 30s and die. But now we've evolved to live a lot longer-80s+ , but our brains didn't evolve enough to handle that. So I'm terrified I'll lose my mind and who I am as a person and become someone I hate. Because time can make people bitter and hateful and I really don't ever want to be that.

I find that my biggest fear is getting to old age and having unused potential; having more to give. I believe this fear came about once I became aware of my own mortality, only a couple of years ago... I'm 21 now. Prior to this point, I had seen loved ones pass away, but I don't know, one day it struck me that "I" would pass away. It was at that point that I realized the importance of doing what one wants in life, what one desires, and dreams of, and to do so in spite of any fear. Using that fear to push you to do whatever that thing is anyway. The longing one has to be outside in fresh air when one feels sick on a bright sunny day is the same feeling you'd have when you're old and sick on those bright sunny days. I'd rather life fully, making everyday something to look forward to now, instead of regretting the many spent sunny days when I am old and unable. I rather live with remorse over dumb decisions than live with regret over the things i never had the courage to do.

Definitely think the fear of running out of time is super common especially now. I'm similar to Jo as in I've had that fear since I was really young and I only got over it by realizing that the only way I'm gonna get where I want to go the quickest is to start RIGHT NOW! Like you said time is passing anyway.

So much wisdom in this video! I think fear of running out of time isn't just generational, it's universal, but the flipside of that fear is the fire that motivates you to do what you want to do most while you're still breathing. I related so much to what Jo said about writing, putting your insides on a page for others to judge is a hella vulnerable scary thing, but equally if just one person has a shift in perspective then it's worth it, and like you don't have to be fearless you just have to be a tiny bit more curious than afraid to achieve what you most desire in life.

About that bit about running out of time, i feel that immensely as well. I read somewhere that its cause as females we have a biological clock thats ticking. This is in terms of birthing. Unlike men, we might unconsciously (maybe even societally imposed) think we have to “get it all together” in terms of careeer, self development and maturity before we end up becoming mothers cause if we dont get our shit together, problems pass on to the next generation and the cycle continues. Not too sure with the basis of this but it kinda made sense. I think i read it from Jordan Peterson but i didnt get to dive deep into other sources. Just wanted to share! 👋🏻

I’m also scared that I won’t make a positive impact on this earth. I sometimes feel guilty for wanting to travel when so many other people are less fortunate and are struggling. Like I seriously am scared of what will happen to this earth in my life time. My parents and grandparents think it’s stupid to be worried about climate change but it’s SO REAL
