A Direct Pointing Out | The Unobservable Self

A direct pointing out of your true nature. This guided self-inquiry focuses on the illusion of subject and object, and points out the nondual nature of the Reality underlying both.
Inspired by the dialogues of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and Douglas Harding's "Headless Way".

Wow this is so powerful. Half way through it I started crying. It was like crying for something that I thought was lost but is right here. Much appreciation 🙏😊🙏 Linda

yet somehow I'm still coalesced with this experience like an ox to a plow. I find nothing useful in the headless philosophy even if it garners something akin to truth. Awareness seems to be more akin to an eye of a tornado rather than an external entity beyond this dimension like God's throne above all things.

If you were the ox to this plough, then it should take some effort on your behalf to make this experience happen. But experience just appears out of the blue, unasked for and maybe even unwanted. The eye of the storm is a much more accurate description. It is the stillness at the heart of the storm that is sentient. It may be a little dust devil, or a godlike storm like the Eye of Jupiter, but at the centre will be the same stillness. That's you. That is where interest should go to stop feeling like you're being blown around by every experience.
