Chances are they are not saved. If someone does not know what they are saved from, they need to question if they are saved. Life can not be lived according to the word without understanding and hearing it. If there is no confession of sins and knowing what your repeating of, there might not be a genuine salvation for that person.

Jesus asked Peter, "Who do you say that I am?". Each one of us must answer that same question.

Whoa I keep finding out how corrupt the way my family made me believe..you have opened my eyes Lord has used you for me to truly see who Jesus is .

God you never cease to amaze me. One part in my prayer today was, “ I know who your are Jesus on a surface level but I want to know you on an intimate level, I’m knocking, I’m asking” this was the first video that popped up when I opened KZread lol.

Your videos really need to be translated in all languages so that people who don't understand English will be able to watch and comprehend. I know God is using you to reach others. I've learned so much and have studied my Bible more because of your videos. Thank you. God bless!

Thought I was the only one who felt like that.

21:42 "Most people leave the message of repentance out of the gospel." Yet, it's the most important part and the first thing Jesus ever said when he started his ministry.

Sooo thankful for you Melissa, I grew up in a church that was kind of legalistic but was baptized with the Holy Spirit there. I eventually wanted nothing to do with God and ran away, experienced a lot of pain & suffering and realized my need for Jesus. I ended up in a hyper charismatic church because I wanted to go somewhere that was the completely different from the church I grew up in & still felt empty. Now I know why & where to run (my bible)! Still looking for a church with some sound doctrine!!

That was awesome! I have definitely fallen for new age, new thought, and modern Jesus in the past. This year has been a wonderful return to Jesus for real!

Wonderful to hear the Gospel being shared in its entirety. We are sinners in need of a Savior. Jesus is our savior, the only way to the Father is through Jesus

I was discipled by someone who said that Jesus DIDN'T do it all on the cross, which really messed me up. I keep my eyes on myself and my performance over sin to gauge my salvation. Honestly, my relationship with Jesus is in shambles and I do fear my heart is turning hard.

I was saved by reading the bible. What got me to see my own awful sinfulness and the utter hopelessness of my situation was Jesus' own statements about hell. When I read Matthew 5:29 I thought "surely He doesn't really mean what He's saying." But the Holy Spirit brought me face to face with the reality of the truth. I knew I was hell-bound and fully deserved it, even though I thought I was better than most people in that I had not committed many sins that a lot of people my age had (I was 20 years old at that time and quite "innocent" regarding worldliness and sexual sins.) Even so I knew that unless God chose to save me, I was utterly hell-bound and without hope. It was a very heart-pounding, hands-trembling, knees-knocking kind of moment in which I actually came to Jesus and He saved me. In that moment, the grace and mercy of God looked to me like an oasis in the desert while I was dying of thirst. The law must come first! The law properly prepares our hearts for the gospel. Because no one is interested in the cure for a disease they don't truly understand that they have.

Reading the bible won't save you, the holy spirit quickens your spirit to the truth. Hearing the truth and believing and doing it will save you. Jesus said it in Mt7:21, those doing the will of my Father..... those will be saved. Jn6:39-54 those saved will be resurrected in the last day. go to Venson555 on you tube and check him out.

@@russman8600 Right! That's exactly what happened. But none of that would've happened if I'd never opened the bible and was taught by the Holy Spirit.

Interesting point. Even Paul said something about "another Jesus" the phrase is in Galatians. Thank you for the post.

My family followed shortly after, praise the Lord. But to this day, my mom still struggles with old teachings she heard years ago.

Thank you for producing this video. I go out to share the gospel and meet this different jesus all the time. It is a god that good people must sacrifice any truth that does not promote a self concept of love and unity. It appears to me, it just a slight of hand of being our own god.

It's definitely personal, as I don't know many Christians who would argue about the actual gospel. That, or they simply just don't like me lol! Hurt people=hurt people. Constructive conversations are difficult when people just want to hate on you. Let's pray for them and love them as much as we can.

Wonderful....Was looking up the song, Which Jesus Do You Follow, by Todd Agnew and found this....my second exposure to your videos, Melissa...interesting...I heard nothing but truth in this and the one about Mega Churches....keep up the good work..

This is good video with a good attempt to clarify the Gospel. To be honest, giving a clear presentation of the Gospel is really hard, she even gave a few mistakes. So I advise all those who wish to be faithful in presenting it to Sharpen their Gospel.

Amen to this. Our ministry Not Ashamed Street Evangelism is on the streets, at malls and outside concerts at least twice per week. We have found not to just shout Amen when someone says they are christian. We ask simple but probative questions and intently listen to their answers to these questions. The result is that over half the people who claim to be christian that we meet on the street truly are following another Jesus and another gospel. We then give them the one and only gospel - the bad news (law) of our fallen nature (sin) and then the good news (gospel)
