I downloaded the 3x5 originally, but then went back and downloaded the 4x6 because I realized I could also use my printable A6 planner inserts alongside the cards and they’d be the same size. So my 4x6 card deck now lives inside a thin plastic 5x7 photo organizer in my bag. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed bingeing your videos and setting up my deck this Christmas break!

Love the passion you found in planners (especially the more than 100 times reusable Card deck system 🤩👍) and how you spread so much inspiration in to this world by molding it to your needs in the pursue of a great intentional life. May you and your family be blessed with love, laughter and lots of inspiring structure and may you keep on inspiring others while doing so❤

@@timeandtideplans might not seem like much in the grand scheme. Yet for me that’s the longest consecutive use of a planner! And even did a week of 12 weeks which is first also!

It's my pleasure! If you haven't yet be sure to check out Sidetracked Home Executives amzn.to/3us1Z8m - this explains the cards & is a cute blast of 80s nostalgia. Plus, the 12 Week Year - if you're interested in accomplishing goals amzn.to/3Rbbth4

I just found your channel and I live in a 40 ft RV. We have been traveling the country for 6 years now and it is an adventure. I love your system but I'm not sure I could keep the cards together but you have given me some great ideas to try out.

I just found you yesterday and in this video you casually mention living on/homeschooling on a ship! I'm like WAIT WHAT?! There's got to be more to that story lol

The tabs were a fun visual. Where do you keep your homeschool in the plan or the time block? Do you use both sizes in your deck?

I only use 3x5s. My boys went into school outside of our boat recently! When I moved over everything from the planner to the card system in late June our summer school was math and grammar curriculum where I would just add in time blocks to our day in the calendar to get it done. Before June I planned out units using my planner with notes on resources. I imagine the unit activities would be pretty easy to move over to cards and helpful when we wouldn’t get to some things.

I lived on orcas and thought of living on a boat and just anchoring ! Do you just anchor in the water ? I always thought that would be a way to live cheaply!

Many people do anchor out year round in the area, however there's a lot to consider when it comes to weather in the winter, especially when you have family and a need to get to land when there is a gale among other things.

Can you share about homeschooling this way and if you have been able to find community living on a sailboat this way especially as a Christian . When I lived on orcas I found I couldn’t find community as everyone with kids was a Wiccan . Have you been able to find a tribe? My daughter is very social but I’m seriously considering this lifestyle as it’s basically living rent free on a sailboat !

When were you last living on Orcas? I know people who grew up there that are my age and had a similar experience to yours. From what I've seen the demographics have changed. I have loved our time on the boat. We personally haven't saved any money in the long run with boat upgrades, maintenance, island costs of living, and moorage. However, many people are able to.
