He is against any restrictions whatsoever on qualified immunity for police officers. Not such a good guy, but bias towards his fellow cops.

@@randys6220 of course law enforcement is going to have bias toward their own organization that's a no-brainer. Fortunately however they do not write the laws the people and the legislative branch of the state presents the laws and the police abide by the laws that state set forth. The problem is these police unions are very politically powerful and the politicians are in their pockets once we can overcome that corruption the will of the people can be executed and the loss can be changed to hold police accountable for their screw UPS. I respect law enforcement but even in our constitution there's a thing called checks and balances legislative branch, judicial branch, executive branch they all have checks and balances on their power and their scope. The law enforcement community needs the same checks and balances quote unquote attached to their institutions as well, this just keeps them honest in the history of man no institution is capable of self-governing itself, corruption and treachery will always follow.

@@gordendavis3585 There have been plenty of cases where qualified immunity has protected cops that clearly violated someone's rights or used excessive force. The U.S. Supreme Court created qualified immunity and the majority of politicians in both houses of congress are not willing to pass legislator to change or restrict it. For example, there is a veteran who got beaten up/injured on video by federal law enforcement officers at a VA hospital when he let the guard know twice his ID was already in the bin at the security screening and 1 officer lost his temper with all eventually jumping in the fray. The lower court had ruled the officers were protected by qualified immunity. The U.S. Supreme Court last year refused to hear the case letting the lower court decision stand. Regardless of the laws in place those federal law enforcement officer are not facing any criminal or civil penalties at all and the case is closed with no recourse left. The victim cannot even sue them for his injuries because of qualified immunity. The veteran was represented well by the Institute of Justice and was still unsuccessful. The Sheriff here is just fine with that.

Furthermore, when you have city leaders villainizing the people sworn to enforce the standards of the land, while fueling a media campaign that the police cant be trusted their demoralized and quit shocking. @@SkinniJ thanks for your comment. I would like some examples of things you’re talking about. It’s not apparent by these videos that he believes his officers can do no wrong. He posts these with a specific objective, of course, and there is obviously much more happening happening off KZread than on. These are snippets of the finality of successful cases, and don’t represent anything but that. Nowhere on earth could there be a region with a full team of perfect people, and there is almost guaranteed to be wrong-doing on the part of some officers at some point. The question would be, how is it dealt with by the top on a consistent basis? Being a cohesive team is important, and it is important also to deal with most internal issues privately, unless it’s directly impacted the public. If that’s the case, I would hope it would be publicly addressed. If you are a genuinely concerned citizen, then you should bring it up in the appropriate manner for proper steps to be taken. Of course, there are a lot of other people who would have reason to dislike him… since he airs a lot of people’s “dirty laundry”. Not living anywhere near the area, all I have seen from here is admiration from law-abiding citizens.

@Julie Love many studies show even a higher level of sociopathic traits in the general population. I really like the fact that you are bringing research to the conversation. An individual doesn’t constitute the result of a research study, however, and if we were to take the study you quoted, Brady would have a 60% chance of being one of the cops who doesn’t show sociopathic traits. I lived in a town where the majority of the cops were wonderful, caring, humble, and truly wanted to uphold the law in the way it was intended. Then, within a few years, they had moved on to another post, and a new group came in. They were absolutely self-absorbed, lazy, and picked on people just for kicks, and covered for each other while they got drunk and drove. The difference was stark and an awful shock for that town who was used to wonderful cops who cared to get the real “bad guys”, but even treated them with decency and respect that all humans deserve. I do believe that the good-bad ratio is unfortunately close to 60:40 and that’s tragic. I just don’t see it in this case. You’d need to be a lot more specific. It appears to most people that he stands out as one of the good ones.

This is going to take way longer than a five-minute post to explain the purpose of the English language or even why we have police to begin with. The interview was done and released on 3/22 not coincidentally the number of 'skull and bones.' The majority of the world writes the date as 2/23. In Gematria, 'polk county Sheriff' equals 223. It's a lot to explain but it's very simple to learn.(A1, B2, C3) That being said, the world that we live in is controlled by a certain group of people but comprised of a collective. Most of the main news stories, history, war...all manufactured! There are certain people chosen for certain positions because of who their father was. Judd is one of those people. I love this Great officer. I live in Florida. There’s a lot of bad guys that feels the “ Wrath of Grady. “ They get fitted in the sweet fashion of the Orange jump suit. They get new Flip flops and silver Bracelets along with ankle bracelets. Plus three meals a day. Now how could they ask for more.
