I used ro watch mu grandparents bird bath and feeder for hours. Robins, Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Sparrows - plus many moreI'm sure. Loved it. So peaceful to hear them sing, like a soundtrack to life itself.
What a perfect bird bath!
Beautiful Variety of Birds joining together at the watering hole. I have not seen any Cedar Waxwings in my yard in Massachusetts. Love watching Robins bathe.

I've found that a good sized rock placed in the middle, that is partially submerged but partially out - is a great spot for birds to land and gauge the depth. Great video! Jealous of your starlings!

Starlings are not usually the birds people are jealous of, but to each his own. Enjoy!

I have tons of Starlings! They eat a ton of food, but I like them!

I was going to suggest a well placed rock, but seeing you've already suggested one, I'll go with maybe some gravel, too. Or a frog stone ornament for special decoration.
Oh my goodness. How sweet!! These birds thank you!
Awesome! Fun to watch.
Very nice indeed. Definitely pays to have a large bird bath so that 'bully birds', like Robins, don't dominate. I'll bear that in mind this summer.

The other way to get around bully birds is to have multiple bird baths and/or fountains so they can spread out. Doesn't take much, just a simple saucer such as the large ones which go under pots. Put on concrete blocks or a wood stump to keep it above ground and foliage.
New sub! Very fun to watch!
Busy busy water hole. What are the birds with the bright yellow tail tips? Not from the Pacific NW, as I've not seen them here.
Amazing 🥰🥰
Thanks for the water👍
Wow! I live in NC and have pretty much the same variety of birds as you do. Except our winter is too rainy., so I barely get any visitors to the watering hole during winter. Most visitors to my watering hole are during the summer and spring months. Though the Cedar Waxwings are gone by then. : (

Enjoy what you have when you have it, and try not to worry about what doesn't appear.

Is it shallow enough?
what is it made of?
Someone's water of bath becomes another one's drinking water. 🤦♂️. Nature is crazy. 🤣
