We silently let it be known we will destroy someone's entire past, present, and future if they hurt our families. Any chomo that's interviewed will admit, if the dads present and even LOOKS like they are a threat...the kids are safe. They never say that about moms though. It's why dads can't drive themselves crazy with all the what if scenarios.

I honestly had to stop the show for a minute after he got his daughter back because it hit so hard in the feels and I'm not even a father but I couldn't even imagine how stressed and scared any parents would be in this situation for their child's safety.

the father right here is an incredible actor, we need to see more of him. i'd watch the movies and shows he's in, PLEASE.

I NEVER get tired of watching this. Pure emotions expressed perfectly by ALL the actors. It never stops giving me chills and moving me to tears.

Also it might be just a guess but maybe the actor in the car may have used his real daughter as I know some actors do.

The dad actor IS SUPERB‼️‼️‼️

Nolan is such a great character in moments like this. This was a great scene and hats off to the actor playing the father. The look he gives when he subtly shakes his head and the face he has when finally holding his daughter safe at the end ❤ great acting.

Had no idea what was happening until that trunk opened. This is some top tier acting right here.

The scene is better without the stupid music. It just takes away from the show.

Seen this clip plenty of times and i still get impressed by the actor who managed to give out so much emotions, showing how desperate he needs help and silently make the police aware of his predicament. These are the people who deserves to be recognised.

He did an amazing job of acting without even saying a word that's true talent and the song choice is perfect

MAN!!!!!! The flutter of the driver's eyes as he nods that she is in the trunk THREW me!! FANTASTICALLY nuanced acting!! Very well done!!

Excellent acting.....a parent's terror without words...... One of the reasons I my regret at not having children isnt too deep...because i know i would die if anything happened to my child. My heart goes out to any parent who has ever had to endure any such situation..

This is what the world needs more of they need a father like this.

That was emotionally powerful. The actor really found that fear and primal family protection energy deep within himself. Instant tears..WOW

I still watch the rookie it’s still good till this day

My father would do anything to protect me, my siblings, and my mother. He is a very stoic man and doesn’t often share his emotions but I remember him breaking down in from of me (1 of about 3 times I’ve seen him cry). I had woken up from a diabetic coma when I was 17 and when we talked he told me it was his worst nightmare come true, watching one of his children or my mother go through something painful and not be able to switch places with us. Most powerful conversation I ever had with him and he inspires me every day!

The guy that plays the father is a good actor. Conveyed alot of emotion with barely any lines in this video.

I couldn't imagine being the dad in this. I cried like a bitch when my daughter was taken from me by court order because my ex lied and said I was abusive. I got custody of her a week later in court. Fast forward 12 years and my daughter is still the brightest light in my life. I would die before I let her be taken from me again.

This is by far one of if not the best part of this entire tv show out of all episodes and seasons.

This made me cry….damn good acting

The Academy etc should give honorable mention awards for moments like these. This guy acted better in those 20 seconds than most of Hollywood's big shots.

The man who played the father must he a father in real life. Cause he showed every emotion that a father would express in real life.

As a father of 2 boys. I would give my life for them. He was willing to do the same for his. Respect to the Fathers out there that are like this man here. I would definitely did the same for mine.
