TV Anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" Opening Theme orchestrated.
I decided to take a lyrical, orchestral approach for the instrumental section after the first chorus (1:43). It's always interesting to see how different covers handle it differently.
My favourite part is 2:34 with the brass and woodwinds repeating the motif on top of the violin melody, giving it an intense, tension filled atmosphere that leads to the chorus again. It has some Tsutomu Narita/Nobuo Uematsu vibes to it, specifically Granblue Fantasy OST. Lyria - 12. Battle Against Humans / 人間との戦い.
I have a few plans for my next releases, so hopefully I'll see you again soon.

NICE!!! I was looking everywhere for this! Surprisingly, there are few orchestra covers for this song. I thought there'd be many since Evangelion is a popular anime.

I am always curious how people arrange the part after the first chorus (that little bridge) - You've done an outstanding job filling up that gap. Not only that- the details in the orchestration is phenomenal. Excellent arrangement, can't wait to see more arrangements from you!

also, do you perchance know of genshin impact and its osts? i was imagining what would liyue's battle themes would sound like if it was militaristic, if you know what i mean.

@@plebisycthe yes!! I've been bingeing the game and its OSTs too! As much as I love genshin tho, I think I will avoid covering anything because I don't think I'll bring anything new to the table. I think their orchestral soundtracks are perfect as it is

absolutely! I love Yoko Shimomura's composition style, so you might hear a bit of KH in my arrangements
