I cannot fully express how this makes me feel. Goosebumps, tears, an intense internal soothing ease and power - this track physically makes me feel emotional tension and joy. I wish more people out there knew Eva and knew this track JUST so they could appreciate this a little more. Truly, genuinely, impactful now a staple of my must-listen music.

You know this isn't an edit of the original version by Yoko Takahashi right, and that's instead based on Eri Kowai's 'capella?

I can imagine Unit 01 floating through space with this playing in the background Lonely indeed, but peaceful Even with the Earth, Moon, and Sun being long gone, The Evangelion will be proof that humanity once existed.

This feels so much more... spatial and isolation-esque than ever. This is not the Cruel Angel's Thesis that plays to start the episode. Not the CAT that shows Shinji getting in the robot and fighting angels. This is the CAT that plays when humanity is gone. Not a murmur or whisper. The earth is as silent as the void it resides in. Only an echo of life.

It makes you want to start praying to it, amen
