I'm a bit late for the SPYxFAMILY party but here is the catchy opening song "Mixed Nuts" from SPY×FAMILY orchestrated! Today's orchestration theme is all about capturing the unique dynamics of the Forger family.
Constantly shifting from a light and airy tone to a suspenseful action packed tone, we catch a glimpse of their fun and eccentric lifestyle characterised by a hint of chaos and madness. Taking a brief pause from the heavy percussion and punchy brass, the horn sings a legato melodic line accompanied by the piano and light strings; a moment of self-reflection that comes from the Forgers realising the irreplaceable value of their new familial bond.

Thank you! A lot of my orchestrations are inspired by Seycara, Mitsukiyo and Yu-peng Chen from Genshin. these guys are an endless source of inspiration!

@@Timmy_Ha Wow, I noticed how intricate and detailed this arrangement gets. I really liked that violin figure that is then played by trumpets an octave lower in the intro, also loved when the trumpets play the supporting role somewhere in the middle. Glad I took the time to study and learn from this :D

@@mizomarket5327 haha thank you! I'm glad you picked up on that small detail. I'm a big fan of reusing small motifs like that in different contexts throughout the arrangement (not sure if there's a musical term for that :o)
