All these years, I thought I was the only one who thought his eyes were demonic. I cannot watch him (or his wife) without feeling a darkness that scares me. I was so relieved to know it wasn't just me being overly critical! I agree with Marilyn - whatever he's filled with, it's definitely not the Holy Spirit. It's more about him playing God. And that's scary.

Watching Kenneth Copeland is more painful than having a tooth removed 🤦🏾‍♀️!

but Jesus also says this It was John 16:23, where Jesus tells the apostles “Amen Amen I say to you, whatever you ask from the Father, He will give it to you in My name”.

I'm so old I'm not even sure I know what a millennial is but, if this young woman is an exemplar then, for heaven's sake: Live Long and Prosper! Most folks with her strato-intellect have issues with humility. This lady is a crystal-clear communicator, a pleasure to listen to, delightful to look at, has a gentle and pleasing sense of humor and is unselfconsciously humble in a most endearing way. I felt a check in my spirit regarding Kenneth Copeland and the entire faith movement many years ago. I think this breaks our Father God's heart, such a black eye to the body of Christ. No wonder so many have turned away from the church.

He either forgets a lot or he's making this up as he goes along. Nothing connects. Nothing makes sense. He's not in touch with his own mind, let alone with reality. Melissa, you are amazing for being able to have the patience to actually critique this charlatan,

So true. I've felt the Lord convict me of this also. Church is great, reading sound Christian books are great, but if you don't get to know God on your own and read His word everyday, you'll be taken away with the current. Its quite scary listening to KC as he really is rambling, yet his church followers think he makes sense!

I remember being a kid and seeing him on tv. I felt something was off then. I was maybe 7-8 years old. I just remember always changing the channel quickly. God gave me discernment even as a babe.

Melissa Dougherty They have no fear of God. I find it hard to believe that he is this old and really believes the things that come out his mouth. He is in his 80’s. He will meet the Lord soon. Unless he repents and soon he will not have a good ending.

@@jamiefredrickson2560 That's funny because a short while back I referred to tactics creationist Kent Hovind used as "B.S.tianity." Because unlike Christians like me and Ms. Doughherty who try to lead humble lives in following Christ, you've got pinheads like Copeland who spread B.S. to line their pockets.

The long pauses, laughter, groans, moans, yelling, etc have a purpose. I grew up in a hyper charismatic WOF church and those things were taught to be an anointing that was so powerful that it became difficult for the anointed person to function physically. It’s demonic and it’s for dramatic effect and also allows a 10 minute sermon to last 45 minutes. Also, the “pretending it’s hot” thing is an example of the WOF teaching of James 2. (Faith without works is dead). For example, if you broke your leg and you proclaim healing you must get up and walk in order for your leg to be healed. If you didn’t your Faith was dead and wouldn’t work. Many people have made their illness worse because they stopped taking their medication.

After his declaration of a strong south wind and a heatwave there were unusually LOW temperatures in Texas. The following day and the week after I believe, it was unseasonably COLD ! The LORD God almighty will NOT be mocked !

It's been quite cold for this time of year here in Maryland, as well. We even had a light snow recently! I've had to wear my jacket outside since mid-March. It's usually short sleeved or tank top weather here around this time, or at least close to it. I've seen several people claiming that KC is a true prophet and "general of the faith" and that there's really been a heatwave all across the country since this sermon 😒

I love when she prefaces a remark with "I mean no disrespect but..." and then, with the measured tone and thoughtful content of what follows, demonstrates that she's true to her word!

It’s really sad, many many years ago, I was a new Believer, heard him, read his books, but now I see the manipulation, I thank God that He opened my eyes, to see through this, let’s pray for eyes to be opened and the Spirit of Deception to leave Gods children alone, to whom much is given, much is required, we all have to give an account one day, I rather be a door keeper in the house of the Lord, than to dwell in the tents of the wicked, we shall pray in Unity and Harmony and Love, that all these Prosperity Preachers be exposed in Jesus Name. I knew 20 years ago there was something amiss about his preaching, but couldn't put it into words. You hit the proverbial "nail on the head;" an emotional exaggeration.. Thank you so much for sharing your God-given discernment.

I have a hard time watching him. My mom watched him, believing in what he taught, supported the ministry, always tried to preach to my siblings...it has turned them away from Christianity. I'm a believer in Jesus, God's only son, learning the Word verse by verse, in the Hebrew meaning... This makes me sick and sad as it's so hard to reach my brother, sisters, children with the Truth. My mom's last year on earth was spent drawing close to Jesus, reading the Word, and having true peace with her relationship with God! I'm sad she was caught up in his ministry, all she wanted was Jesus! She's with Him now. Please pray for my family to accept Christ. Thank you, I bring them the Gospel, love them, live my life loving them! God Bless you!

My uncle, HIGHLY admired in my family, by his seven brothers and sisters, gave money to Copeland. My uncle ascribed to a combination of Christianity and Zen Buddhism, and I recall everyone thinking he was oh-so-deep and wise. Ugh! It makes me sick. My mom died in 1985, after a very painful, drawn out death with cancer. I can only pray she knew the right Jesus.

My dear lady I don't know why we spent so much time talking about who is false or who it doesn't personally I never like the way he preaches or how he focuses in money or any other preacher that do the same but I believe he will eventually be judge by God all mighty, so why don't we that have the "sound doctrine" teach the real word of God? It's just an opinion

I've been a Christian for almost 40 years. I've been in full-time ministry in Pentecostal churches for 25 years. I have to say that nothing has changed over 2,000 years. As the Apostle Paul had to deal with the so-called Super Apostles (See 2Cor 11) of his day, so do we. Nevertheless, we have this encouragement, God will honor those who honor his Word. ~thanks Melissa

He could not have possibly written this "sermon" down. He's freestyling like a rapper. That's improvisation. I'm a jazz musician...I can spot improv 100 miles away. He's really good too. He has a few points and he wings it from point to point.

It doesn’t mean that people don’t mock him. The Apostle is making a vivid contrast between God and man; It is impossible to impose on him who discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart. His law can’t be broken without punishment and He cannot be deceived. If one is sowing in the flesh, he better be ready to reap corruption. Remember that all the fruits of our behavior are not immediate. In the light of eternity he will not be mocked.

Here we sit about a month after this was preached, and the virus is still with us, and the heat wave never came.

II Timothy 2:15-22, study to show thyself approved unto God.. Preachers and Pastors are to lead but we are to study to make sure we have true leadership that’s guided by God. It’s like following someone in a trail but have your own map to look at to make sure the leader is doing right.

I got caught up in the “Faith” movement years ago. The Holy Spirit lead me out of this cult. I’m 80 years old now and praise God He is faithful to His Word ... the real Word in context of Truth. Cherry picking is the best words for these charlatans.

He acts like a possessed person. He wears me out with his rambling. I feel sorry for any one trying to take notes. He and his "sermon" are totally unhinged!!! God bless you and your ministry. I am a new sub and I just had to say something about this.

@@bellabelle6 It's New Apostolic Reformation. Sort of New Age with a veneer of Christianity. Do a bit of searching, you'll find it's creeping into mainstream Christianity in an alarming way.

As someone who has came out of word of faith or the prosperity message the one item you do not hear much about is the sovereignty of Jesus. I have seen people hurt when they are told that either they don’t have enough faith or even worse. I truly believe that people do not have a real understanding of what faith is and one of the reasons for that is people just don’t do their homework. Don’t be afraid to question what people are saying and do your homework! Great video !

The reason anyone would trust and believe the heresy of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Paula White, Jesse Duplantis, Joyce Myer, Creflo Dollar, T.D. Jakes, Joel Osteen and Victoria Osteen, Juanita Bynum so many other ungodly "ministers" is because they aren't seeking Jesus for salvation nor are they asking the Holy Spirit for discernment and most importantly they do not read the Word for themselves.

So you all are God's judges, how do you know this stuff that God doesn't want them to be rich? I believe as I read the Bible we need to be rich, where in the Bible does it say God wants us poor but it's ok for the world to be rich? You need to read your Bibles and see what God says about being rich! Look at the men of the old testament and look at what Jesus said and did! I think that the Billionaires of the world should be Christians not these worldly people like Gates who is wanting for everyone to get the mark of the beast put in their hands, wake up people there are people going to help and the devil using these Democracts, BLM, KKK, ANTIFA to bring destruction to America and are wanting to stop the church and get us to go against each other! There are Baptist preachers I don't agree with but I don't go on KZread and put them down I just ok that's not what I believe and I just leave it at that because they maybe right but I don't see it oh well!

Jesus Christ never did anything for entertainment , Jesus Christ only bring us the experience . You must have your faith experience base upon relationship in Christ , the word of is spirit ; we worship in the holy spirit manifest expression . Life and death is in the power of our tongue . I love your channel. You are spot on about this man! You analyze his sermon intelligently and point out his lack of bible based intent. It is sad that millions cannot see through his smoke screen of garbage. You are brave to chance backlash from so many! Thank you for standing up to a man who seems to represent satan more than Jesus. I saw a video of lisa guerra from inside addition interviewing him and at one point in the interview he got angry at her and gave her a look and stare down that gave me chills im sure lisa will never forget that look it was like she was staring at the devil himself hes very creepy idk how someone like him suck so many people in amazing

Pray for this man. God will give even him a chance to repent. He clearly needs deliverance.

I pray he has not yet been given over to a reprobate mind. His actions show that this is a distinct possibility though that he has. I believe he is possessed. He is not teaching the Jesus of the Bible. He is teaching doctrines if demons. I pray though, that he will come to repentance AND repent before the church and disavow his heretical teachings.

He has such flowery ways to say nothing. Dramatic pauses, the appearance of emotional conviction, pseudo authoritative speech...all to say fluff in order to convince people that what he's saying is right.

I never hear anything about how to be saved!!! What's is all this have to do with the Gospel??I glad you're calling out false preachers!!!!

Does it ever seem like people like him seem to view the bible as some sort of spell casting book rather than a history of god's people and a guide towards him? They read the text but they always seem to miss the message/meaning in the very text they read.

Definitely. I once saw a book which was a long list of different verses taken completely out of context which could be used for all sorts of problems in life, and all you had to do was repeat them over and over. I can't remember which verse was used, but I recall there being one for sunburn. I called it the Christian Spellbook.

Marsha Smith If someone doesn’t get healed, it’s because they don’t have enough faith. So the sick person is not helped and now is put down farther because of their lack of faith.

@Myrm Ants Jesus said, 'be healed' and it was done, nothing to do with faith on many occasions. It is to show the glory of God many times and the power of the Lord.

I cant stomach what he says, I actually feel pity for him I pray the Lord takes the blinders off his eyes and brings him to his knees to take him to the Gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 1:4 KJV).🙏❤

Also "the prosperity gospel" is a different gospel.

That is so true. I used to watch him on T.V. years ago and he is definitely not the man he used to be. There is something very demonic in his eyes and his entire being. I fear for him but I also pray for him.

EXCELLENT POINT! Back in the 70s and 80s my parents were big supporters of his. We watched him every Sunday night on Ch.20 in the D.C. area. Well, he has STRANGELY become a different man over the decades. And it's a strange and scary thing. What's worse...are the people who "partner up" with him and other type preachers. That is a very strange and weird crowd of people!! I got totally away from that whole crowd many years back.

I came out of a word of faith church, and I remember when Kenneth Copeland came to my old church. I just keep thanking God for deliverance!

He can't control the wind, but he can break wind. The Bible says if a man believe he is something when he is not he deceives himself, Romans 1:28 God gave them over to a reprobate mind, God will send them strong delusion that they will believe a lie that's the word of God.

Calling out those who make false claims isn’t attacking, it’s protecting believers (and even non-believers) from a false doctrine... from being deceived and led away from God. God would never want us to see a deceiver and stay quiet about it while many are led astray...

Don’t under estimate this kind of preacher’s , they are very calculative So as to capture their audience which is so deadly n deverstating , that’s why God has shut there churches because he can’t stand this blasphemy any longer .
