My one mission is to stop expecting people to treat me fairly. My family uses me and spits me out after they get what they want from me. So I have cut ties with them, for awhile at least.

This is 17 minutes of pure positive energy. I'm so glad I came across this channel at the same time my mind was going through turbulent times just a few days ago, it's absolutely wonderful how much I appreciate now the virtue of patience in waiting for that giant ship to pass through and let the waves come back to the shore of the beacj. It has helped me so very much and I'd like to thank you for the invaluable lessons and insight you provide for anyone and everyone to enjoy. My mission is to offer an ear to those who feel they aren't heard and a voice to those who feel they can't speak, and most importantly to make people smile. :)

I think it is a matter of balance. When people ask for my help, I often help, but some people don't know when to stop asking, and then I feel guilty for saying no, even though they are asking too much. We can only give what we have and sometimes, selfcare comes first.

Our mission is to reconnect with our true self and fix our inside world. From here, we can put our purpose at the service of the world, which is an extension of us.

That is so true. It seems people try to find it “ out there” when it’s going inside is the answer. I go to 12 step ACA meetings ( adult children of dysfunctional families)😇

I know that being in service to others is the way to live a fulfilling life. But with depression, anxiety and CFS, I can’t even serve myself. Any thoughts?? Love your channel Scott 💕 PS I am 68 years old. 😊

I'm finding it so hard and confusing to find that balance between self and others. We live in a culture that promotes putting yourself first, but it seems like everyone in the spiritual community keeps talking about service and connection to others. How do I serve others without losing myself? How can I be there for others without it being at the expense of myself? I don't know what the appropriate boundary is. sigh.

With no offense intended this is genuinely one of the most unhinged sounding self help videos I’ve seen this week 💀 And I listen to many for enrichment purposes. Sprinkling in random intense bouts of colorful religious language, commentary on trans people wanting GRS, and the want for artistic self expression in workplace settings was an interesting choice (I paused 4 minutes in bc your energy isn’t for me lmfao) Regardless of your intent, your approach possesses down punches & glosses over the struggles of others you’ll most likely never have the misfortune of experiencing. Of course it’s easy for you to make light of such a thing, as it’s not your experience. The way you make a passing joke of some things as a minor inconvenience to overlook (in the pursuit of happiness) with your overall message misses the effective self help benchmark & comes across as tone deaf. Leaving feedback isn’t something I’m prone to, but the tone of this video evoked warning signals from a very unhealthy religious upbringing. Best of luck within your endeavors, Scott.
