This is probably the first time I have seen Nintendo acknowledge the friendship-breaking game Mario Party really is. I really hope Nintendo doesn’t let this game die like they did with Super Mario Party. Edit: I am seeing some people saying Mario Kart is better at ruining friendships, and I agree with that. another edit: after reading every reply I have gotten I am changing my opinion from saying one game is great at ruining friendships to saying that there are multiple Mario games that are good at ruining friendships.

This is the most kid friendly version of how anyone actually reacts in any Mario Party game. The ending was a bit "meh" compare to actual destroying friendships, but you know, great representation nontheless!

I find characters in Mario Party Superstars few, about 20 characters are great!

The game is only 2 months old; a lot of time for dlcs and updates. I wish we could have Splatoon characters in it; Inkling girl or... Marie. Or Pauline.

Please please please don’t let this game die out. Add some more 64 boards, more mini games, and characters. I’ll spend the money if you will just give us some DLC.

I love the sentient nature of the video title and the fact that Nintendo FINALLY acknowledges the friendship ruining nature of the game. Next trailer is expect a full-on controller spike 😂

I really hope we get DLC for this game. I can't tell you how many games I have played with friends so far. Honestly the best Mario Party in a long time.

Hot take: I never thought the car was bad, it was the slow pacing and little to no variety of board mechanics that made 9/10 bad. Super Mario party had the same problem, and they finally fixed it all in this one.

Nintendo has became self-aware of the whole ruining friendships situation in Mario Party, and I like what they did.

Probably the most relatable trailer ever; showing off the rage, as well as the enjoyment.

Hopefully DLC comes out for this game. After a disappointing super Mario party this game has brought the franchise back to life. Please don’t let it die !!!

I'd buy every single board, every mini game pack and every character if they ever released it to create a true collection. HD remake, all mario parties. Remember when Mario Party games had more than 4 levels?

Mario party is back baby most fun I've had with a game in a long long time.

Alternate title: Nintendo becomes self aware. (I love Nintendo ads like these.)

Hopefully this game gets an update with a little bit more content

I've never screamed with as much victory and distress as I have playing mario party with my friends, so props for illustrating the true nature of the game so well 10/10 would rage again

Very underrated and very fun. I love the online multiplayer!

Thanks so much for making this.

The idea for the trailer is so good but the execution is just too safe. This could have been perfect if the cast was like super chaotic and had those cheap character costumes as if they were taking it way too seriously but completely aware of it.

I hope this Mario Party Superstar game lives on for years to come. I hate when a Mario Party game comes out only for it to die due to lack of content. If Nintendo can release a good game then update it every 3 months with good DLC it'll be awesome cuz it'll live on for years to come

Thank you for finally creating a great Mario Party after so many years. I may have some minor nitpicks but overall this is one of my favourite games on the Nintendo Switch. I'm hoping for some DLC but as it stands it has more than enough content to satisfy me. I can't thank ND Cube enough for this, I'm so happy they finally learned that they didn't need to fix what wasn't broken.

This commercial held so much promise yet it could not capture the true breadth of emotion. The bitterness, the joy. Relationships lost, dynasties broken. Seeing the glimmer leave a loved ones eyes... because you stole two stars in chance time.
