Thich Nhat Hanh helped me heal the most through some of his books - I was one of at least millions of people. This documentary made me cry but I'm not sad because a cloud never dies :)

@@VeganSemihCyprus33 Thanks a lot for the documentary... its truthfulness is undeniable. People will have to choose for themselves if they wish to change their ways or not. Like the Matrix movie said: you can show them the door but they need to be the ones that walk thorough it.

I started this documentary with a smile and I end it with tears in my eyes and an even bigger smile on my face. Thank you to every person who worked to create this beautiful retelling of Thay's life. May we always choose the path of peace and compassion with every step and breath we take in this life.

These eyes are not me, I am not caught in these eyes. I am life without boundaries, I have never been born, I will never die. Look at me, smile to me, take my hand. We say goodbye now, but we’ll see each other right after now. And we’ll meet each other on every walk of life.

Not only being a monk but also he was a great social worker!

His book, 'The Art of Communication,' changed my life. It set me on a Buddhist path of exploration and practice, that has been a major influence on my life ever since. 🙏

In tears and in awe at the beauty of this mans gentle yet determind sprit. May I wish all who read this comment spritual awakening, love and peace now and for eternity.🙏

I cried for 3 weeks when he passed. I'm deeply touched by this gentle peace maker.

Is it even possible to cry for someone whom I knew only through the internet? Is this what we called going essential? Beyond physical; right to the heart; subtle yet significant? Because he came to my "KZread algorithm" just in time back then in 2018 when I finally had to accept the paradox that I had been trying to deny for the longest time. Everything is connected, that's why a cloud never dies.

His spirit lives in everyone he touched with his words

Peace on Earth. Our Venerable Zen Master is deeply missed and yet this movie is a loving reminder that HE IS with all of us because he taught us that a cloud never dies. And because of him, when I see the blue sky and watch the beautiful clouds passing by I think of him and his message of love and peace. Thoughts of love are thoughts for peace. Beautiful movie. The way I calm and cleanse my heart is by suffering the sufferings of others and to visit an orphan or a widow or to take a pound or two of rice and beans and some sugar and coffee and cooking oil to some families who do not have the means to feed themselves. So, if you want truly to cleanse and calm your heart, you need to make a trip to Dominican Republic where I have been living for the past 22 years or any other third world country instead of spending enormous amount of time trying to suggest to yourself that you find yourself in that State of mind. May the Lord bless you and keep you and may the Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious unto you and give you his peace.

Like you do, I really love his saying “breathing in, I am a mountain, breathing out, I feel solid and strong.” It feels completely different when we tell ourselves that.

Years back when i started reading a book of him i felt at peace which i've never felt in my entire life. I have read all his books and planning to read it again and again until i get absolved in to the content completely.

I'm glad that thay's teachings are getting "viral". I feel that the Sangha is doing, and firmly believe that will do so much good to our society. Not only Mindfullness and the Dharma, but as I heard in one of the recent videos the focusing on the Sangha, out spiritual family, that takes care of us with loving speech and concentration. All monks: you are Thay's continuation. Through you, Thay's message is spreading. Breathing in, I know Thay lives in every cell of my body. Breathing out, I enjoy Thay's company. In, out.

Con rất buồn khi biết đến thầy quá trễ, lúc con nhận được những thông điệp của thầy cũng vỏng vẹn được vài tháng thì ngài đã ra đi. Một nỗi niềm khó tả trong con khi con xem được video này, con đã khóc khi xem nó, khóc rất nhiều rất nhiều là đăng khác. Thật buồn khi con không có đủ duyên để được gặp ngài, thấy ngài trực tiếp ở đời sống này. Nhưng qua những bải giảng con nhận ra rằng, thầy luôn có mặt trong con, trong từng bức chân con đi, từng hơi thở, từng cảm nhận của mình. Từ đó con luôn thấy được sự hiện diện của Bụt trong mình để tiếp tục chuyển hoa bản thân mỗi ngày. Làm mới đạo Bụt và đem pháp môn này lang rộng ra hơn nữa. Con nỗ lực tu học. Con sẽ nghiên cứu Toàn Diện Đạo Bụt và tiếp tục một lần nữa mang Đạo Bụt đến toàn nhân loại, để bảo vệ một mái nhà chung, để mọi người được sống thanh thản, tìm được chân lý đến bến giờ của giải thoát. With Master Thich Nhat Hanh, I have often felt Buddha Siddhartha Gautama came back again. The first book I read by Master was "Old Path,White Cloud:Walking in the footsteps of The Buddha". I got such a great understanding of Buddha!! Absolutely grateful!!

This is very beautiful, I cried so much - I miss Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and yet I know he lives on in his teachings. I wish for world healing and peace.

Happy and blessed to be part of the sangha family and sharing the opportunity with our little daughter to walk the forest paths Thay has walked here in plumvillage. Happy to see the Centers opening for retreats again. Blessing to all of you 🙏
