Apparently this bike has a lot of integrity. That's great because I always worry that my bike is going to sleep with my wife or tell my boss that I spent the whole day browsing the internet for new bikes.
Time was when Cannondale welds were the smoothest in the business. They took time to sand them down smooth. Now just rapidly tig-welded.

To anyone reading this, he isn't wrong they skipped out on smoothing out the welds *but that isn't a bad thing*. You can hide some shitty welding by smoothing it out. These leave it bare.
had this bike for over a year now, and it's amazing. stiff, comfortable, and fast. the welds are not nearly as bad in person, and not too far off from the caad10 welds, the seat stays just don't hide it anymore.

amazing bike. had a 2014 caad 10, swapped to a carbon fuji, but now I'm back to cannondale on a caad 13 disc. just as light, and stiffer than my fuji.

Has anybody the weight of the 105 Disc version? cannondale claims 9kg .. but is it true?

OMC built absolutely zero. However, what I do have is a Cannondale Caad10 with welds that look a lot nicer than that.

@@OMCbuilt I have a CAAD 12 and the welds are smooth. The welds on the 13 are quite noticeable.
Does the bb creak straight out of the box?

As its Alu not Carbon should be ok.. maybe ask Hambini to check!!

GavinsFriend Alu makes no difference my Caad12 creaked straight out the box almost and has been hard to keep quiet ever since. Cannondale bikes are not a good buy!

F K Ultegra with 8 arm spider ring. Terrible! So many creaks and clicks. Still have it and it’s better, but spent way too much money on it!
hummmm ... Im missing the connection from top tube to down tube before the join on head tube ... I feel it makes it better to fat guys like me :-)
apprentice on the welding that day, poor for a £1900 bike.

That's because you have no idea what good welds actually are. The reason you can see the "dimes" is because they want to show the true integrity of the weld and not some sanded down "booger" welds. If you knew as much about metallurgy than you did posting trash on the internet, you'd know. Look up 6061 on YT to educate your self a bit. Welds aren't supposed to look like smooth Bondo!

Saddle is comfortable, nope, that’s a lie lmao. Bike is great though but that saddle is not comfortable.
