Definitely. I was a senior in high school nearly the same age as Nas when Illmatic dropped and was sold the moment I heard “The World Is Yours.” The jazz production with the word play was mind blowing and he was dolo. I’ve yet to hear any man not respect homie. (Only Pac but even that was short lived because even PAC’s side said he respected Nas).
