holy moly Pixi, in the beggining it was you guys losing but I gotta say you guys saved it in a smart way, the use of the Nobel warriors when his Royal Spartans are Tired is really smart and it actually Flipped the Tides of the battle and we gotta admit the Cavalry charges of your teammate were smart and decisive in some points + I actually would flank some slingers from the outside tbf as they were already all in so they have to shift their attention to that slinger unit but hey it was a nice battle overall

Wp Apollo and ruuvak. The cav was pain the whole game. I had to constantly watch me and my teammates back. The cav stop me from getting my nobles hoplites into the front line. You did a great job holding the line. I really enjoyed the game thanks

never really followed the tournaments, i just normally watch months later but i mean 4mins since upload i think im intrested lmao love the content!!

A constant thing I am noticing with you guys is that Ruvac (or however you say it) keeps, I assume, double clicking moving his men. I constantly see throughout the video that his troops are facing away from the frontline. For example: 26:25 and 36:13. Units that either aren't engaging the enemy and racking up kills or are being attacked in the rear causing them to break faster. Not to mention the skirmisher/archer misplays early on. Not trying to shit on you guys but I'm just offering some criticism so that you guys can improve your strategy.

Hoping to one day get in a match with you on Rome 2; I played a MP battle in Napoleon with you a few years back, but a Rome 2 siege with Apollo is still on the ol bucket list

What an epic game that you achieved your first win in the tournament, I am glad Apollo that you have learned to use the Iberian factions well, because with the Arevaci and the Lusitani it is essential to keep the units of noble warriors well guarded, since with their "headhunter" ability they can kill any enemy elite unit; It is almost as if you put the propellers of a helicopter upside down, on a company or battalion of soldiers, that is to say a total massacre. XD

Dont worry about the VP camp rule, we implemented a lot of small maps this season and rather than make a VP camp rule for every single map separately we just removed it all together this season. Some of the maps are too small and you basically need to camp the VP in order to defend properly

Wow! Great fight. Close fight. I'm gonna quote you when you try to pronounce the name of the team Wolfgang: "woof... woof"!🤣 You have to watch these guys; they planned this battle perfectly, and only quick thinking lead you 2 out. And - that 2 units of Arevaci Noble Fighters. Those are beasts.

Apollo 34:54 those slingers that you retreated could have been put on the wall to the right and got rear and side shots into any units that pushed into the pocket, it also would have zoned and forced Colchis to retreat back to corner tower and also may have forced a relocation of their archers, to either delay and prevent them from shooting. Keep in mind that forcing the relocation of the enemy units is good for you on defense since it prevents them from shooting and buys you time to replan.

Hey apollo, little projectile (archer and pila) tip. Shooting the front of a unit (btw only applies to shielded units) is least effective, shooting the sides takes some micro managment, the side you wanna expose is the side of which the unit HOLDS HIS WEAPON, shooting at the SIDE of the shield proves to be not as effective. Utilize this man, good luck!❤

It may not have gotten a ton of kills this game (idk not done watching) but it did seem to make the other team waste their giant ballista focusing it the entire time, instead of your infantry and archers.

You always make great videos about the game apollo, however isn't sparta +5 on attack and not +3?

The rule say you can't stack other units over them, so they are pretty weak.

Not shit talking but didn't Ruvaak brought 5 archer units? (including the general) I assume that the rules are 4 per team which would be considered dirty move even if he didn't used bows on general since he exploited price of the general allowing him to have more money for other units

So the rules are : You can bring 2 pikes per player, but you can't stack any unit over them. That means they are very very week to projectile
