Yeah, to be honest medieval 2 is a masterpiece. After so many years the game is still so much fun. The epickness of heavy armored men going at it, the weight, the charges, the impact of projectiles it makes a dream expirience. The graphics are not a problem in that case.

I just did a match with 2 Rome as enemies and I am Sparta It was a 2v2 and my Egyptian mate dropped so I was alone. However I did pretty solid, 1 Rome player just blob and pull through so I beat him quite easily but sadly my infantries and ranges can't deal with the second one.

Parthia just had too many triumph cards and planned it out too well . Just single handedly carried his team .

Love how you were explaining the cav play but kept the camera focused on the infantry just for looks

Pixel your narrations while theyre riding the horses is classic. This is why I love this channel you just get it

Rome 2 siege battles is what got me into Apollo and it used to be all I watch. Now it's like the cherry on top of an awesome cake and I just love that we still get to see these.

Wow, I've been searching for this channel soooo long. I loved watching your videos when I was younger, I used to watch you like 5-6 years ago. I remember the mini series you made about following a single person around the battlefield to see if/how they survived. Fantastic game ! ! loosing 4 units archers afther 10 minits of playing is asking for problems, they could have been used to scare the elefants. The partian player had exact the units he needed for this map .... annyway this was a great battle and congrats to all players who maded this game to a spectacel !! Sorry for my bad englisch writing its just not my motherlanguage ... Well done guys

Arguably, it might be better to never have your cav units enter a hidden state. That way the enemy won’t receives the prompt “We have discovered the enemy’s hidden units.”

A good Parthian charge can literally turn the tide of any battle - great faction - and amazing history

For sure. Nabatea did okay but the Parthian player is the only reason defenders won despite somewhat poor play from 2/3rds of the attackers.

Those cavalry and chariot charges were Absolute chaos. Lovely stuff from the defenders.

half time bet: the attackers will win. i really liked the "feint" maneuver of the romans, as you indicated, they moved towards the gate, but then attacked the walls. really liked that, a juicy maneuver. don't care if accidental or intended.

The arevaci player who was verry passif in the beginning should have taken the task to protect all allied archers because he was just waiting to strike . In a 4 vs 4 you realy need teamwork and not go for youre own glorie. Every unit matters !!

Middle time answer Im rooting for defenders since I love Nabatea, in my opinion best players Parthia if he really uses well heavy cav, Rome if he planned that shift that damaged Nabatea. Final thoughts Nabatea worse moment was risking his general in a bad spot too early but made up due to that chariot that came from nowhere. Best player Parthia for defenders, for attackers was pretty equal. Thanks for sharing this awesome siege. P.D. Any chance to have that replay to see by myself?

halfway the battle, I would bet on the defenders who would win. they killed a lot of archers. And still have the cataphracs in the woods. The partian player had big uppertuneties to attack before he did, but as you know cataphracs have to rest several times before they not tired annymore... Unthill now the best player is the partian player who also managed to keep his walls from the egyptian player. His army was also well ballanced. Lets see the the rest of the game....
