I can't believe I'm saying this but Theo and a Carnie are the most wholesome thing I've seen all day
My first roller coast was the Ring of Fire at the Abilene State Fair. It's just a ring. Just one loop. You start off rocking back and forth and next thing you know you're doing loops... well... when we juuuust got to the top... like the fiiirst time we were completely upside down... my lap latch broke. My safety latch broke and if it wasn't for the fiberglass canopy of the ride, I would have fallen to my death and my body mauled by a rollercaster. Death scream. Instantly. What was everyone else doing? Laughing. Everyone, laughing. I remember one lady saying to stop the ride as I was passing the operator and HE was laughing! I punched him and screamed at him when I got off and had a full on panic attack at 9 years old. My dad was telling me it was alright and I remember screaming "it's not okay!" I followed my family around the rest of the time and watched them ride rides. I still hold that grudge to this day. "Overeacting".

I used to run a 1950s wheel, we would rock it and shake it, then stop it at the top for 10-15 min for a couple on a date when we were not busy. Aside from the sketchy loading platform didnt have many incidents. I finally got the arcade shift and the tension cable on the wheel broke that night, full load in a free spin for an hour and half. "You get off you got no enamel, no money" 😂
"Dose em up wit that tummy skeet" -Theo Von
Theo is so entertaining and the guests he brings on are so interesting love this podcast ❤❤❤
My childhood friend was part of a traveling carny family. I went with them a lot of the time. Was much fun. I could live like that. Love it.
In australia the Apollo/Skymaster is called the Hangover.
I find this to be one of the most entertaining and informative interviews I've seen in a long time on any podcast
Theo von is the kinda guy that makes jokes outta ANYTHING. ANYTHING. but still has the bottom line respect to be serious when times are very serious. If I wanted to meet any kind of celebrity, comedian, anything, it would be Theo.
One of my favorites is called The Muisc Express as that thing can really go fast as your two person cart swings back and forth also it goes backwards
The zipper is something they should make death row inmates do
Great video. Thanks for posting this. Have a nice day.
Omg these stories bring me back to my Zipper and Gravitron days, hilarious!! And accurate 😂😂
I miss the gravitron. Hasnt been at my local fair in over 15 years
I remember being in marching band in Oklahoma in the 90s and we always got to go to the State Fair because it was like a big marching band competition on it's like opening day or whatever so we get to go and hang out there in the evening. And I was on the Gravitron and while it was spinning I started pushing against the gravity and I got my feet up under the pad and stood up on that back pad like it was a surfboard and the guy operating the thing got really mad. He's a screaming so loud it was over that crazy loud music and I had to sit back down quick or he was going to kill the ride for all of us
This is good content! Chatting with a carny. Got my 🍿
How tf was the guy so chill when Theo was telling the wiener story I was laughing my ass off
Tummy skeet 😂
Shout out to topsfield fairgrounds in northern Massachusetts! Hooty hoo!
3:12 the way Theo gets so excited lol I love that so much.
Theo is hilarious and he understands the importance of having interesting people on who know how to converse.
I lost my money first time ever on the Zipper...so true.
I Loved this episode! Nobody could interview a carney like Theo!
Theo was trying to get drug stores out of this guy for the entire podcast 😂😂
