A Car to Challenge Red Bull - Season 1 Challenge (Part 2/3) - Alpha Tauri - F1 Manager 2023
Ойындар
Next up on our one season challenge where we try to take some of the worst teams in F1 manager to a title win in the first season we have Alpha Tauri, with the new 1.10 things are probably gonna be a bit more interesting and as usual we will be taking advantage of Alonso to make this possible.

Let's Go 🏎️🏁
Why do you always put your drivers on low overtaking and rarely defend at the start of the race? Does it make them faster?

Rarely defend does make them slightly faster, but the main reason why is to lessen risk. By having them on these two settings I very rarely get into bad crashes so it saves alot of money in the long run.

They changed tyre heating sometime after this to have more of an effect. At this point there was not really any negatives with tyres overheating.

I have a twitch account but when I stream it is on youtube, haven't been streaming lately as I just haven't felt up to it but when I do stream it is on youtube.
Hello! Could you please share how you manage your practice sessions to contain the engine/transmission? I started playing recently and was trying to boost drivers confidence at it's best before the qualies but it turns out to take a lot of resources in terms of transmission durability. And I'm like always driving x2 of laps from what AI does. Is it like enough just to find right settings for both drivers and give up on practice to save transmission? Or are there any kind of tricks to do it better? Thank you in advance!

Sorry, messed up transmission and gearbox. Actually found your introduction video where these questions might have been already answered. Will check it first

I generally sim practice. If you do them manually you can run conserve engine mode, drive in clean air and avoid kerbs to avoid degradation. Once your drivers get 100% track knowledge there is no longer any real benefit to running practice unless you need to get part knowledge up.

@@NeroBax Got it. Though I got 100% track knowledge like once and it took a lot of laps during all practice sessions. Just to be clear, I've started with Mclaren on my first save (cause I root for them). And Piastri is weak on the start with low confidence due to low affinity with his engineer. So, to boost up confidence for him, I drive like crazy on the practice sessions. That led to having under 50% gearbox already in Baku. So, I'm kinda looking to balance this thing somehow. But I guess you'll just have to run a lot of laps to get good confidence until they just boost up the affinity level to a good one. Or I'll just trade Piastri somewhere else eventually as he doesn't bring much :D

@jordan5nickI think he was asking a question about whether he needs to use the sliders to focus specific points on parts
