That’s a poor rule change imo. Didn’t need to be changed. This gave a great chance to those in the midfield to get into the mix.

@@thatlazguy The problem with the rule was the advantage it gave to the top cars that could afford to run on the mediums and still make it through. The rule basically punished the midfield runners for making it to q3 as they'd be the only ones on used softs.

I love Football Manager and I love F1, the fact that this game will combine the two is just dreamy, can't wait!

I wish Sports Interactive would overhaul the match engine so we can enjoy good graphics on FM too. I AM SOO HYPED FOR THE F1 manager

Same for me, I also have Motorsport Manager and it's kind of like FM but with Open Wheelers, plus mods that add F1 teams and drivers in to the game.

I love how they've not only got the drivers' voices for the radio messages, but their engineers' voices as well. Love that

Wow, this is amazing. Haven't played a "Manager" game in ages. The fact that we get to see the race (in 3D) and not just on the map is incredible (with option to fast forward as well). Love it.

Looks very similar to the interface/inner workings of how Motorsport Manager is set up, but it's added so much more depth to building the cars/running strategies. And the presentation speaks for itself. Can't wait.

Didn't expect that game to be so in depth. Usually I'm not really interested in manager games but I'll definitely buy this one.

This looks awesome! I love how when the pace was put into aggressive, the engineer and Ocon spoke to each other, details like that make it amazing

I really want this game to do well so that Frontier can incorporate a "build your own team" DLC. Looks really good.

This is absolute levels for a management game, like I can’t believe this is a real game, always wanted something exactly like it

After Motorsport Manager I was looking for exactly this! I hope it’s deep enough to have a long time fun

I like the little bits they add in there to make it realistic like the team radio and the exact voice of them it’s amazing so hyped

You are absolutely spot on about the hype for me personally. Actually looking forward to F1 22 Manager way more than F1 22. IMO I believe the reasoning being (For me too) is that Frontier has a stellar reputation in regards to driving great titles to market and Frontier has been very careful in releasing information about the game, smartly so, then blitzed us within the last few weeks with precise features and gameplay we all wanted in this type of game. Meanwhile IMO a lot of folks are wary of the specter EA represents and the obvious influence they've infiltrated F1 22 with, EA hyping the useless eye candy of F1 Life and aside from the new cars and updated tracks (3), nothing seems very innovative. Meanwhile Frontier has already ticked a plethora of boxes and seemingly injected an innovative fresh breath of life into the simulation management genre.

@@Ghostxx I mean looking at this game, it shows us the level of detail which can be achieved in the game and it just goes to show how lazy Codies have been in the past few years. I always gave them the excuse of the licensing but seeing what you can do in this game makes the F1 games seem like a mobile game in comparison, simplicity-wise.

@@Ghostxx EA hasn’t impacted anything game wise, F1 2021 and 22 were already in development before EA buy out. F1 Life is most likely a Codemasters idea. Only thing EA has influenced is the marketing and distribution.

This looks insane. They nailed the immersion 95%. (Official music would have been better) The engine sounds are on spot. The team radio is insane with the real voices. Maybe the graphic a little bit too bloomy. I hope we can tweak that.

I think the only slight knock on the game is that the AI moves a little wonky but the F1 games have been like that for years so we're used to it. Otherwise the game seems just about perfect.

I just noticed this but you have the F1 2012 main menu theme in the background of the intro. Nice.

The radio messages from the drivers are such a nice touch. Gives the games a very realistic feel! Can’t wait for it to be released!

Something I'd love to see in this game is teams changing names/ownership. Its something that happens somewhat frequently in real life. I understand if it isn't possible to use real life names due to licensing, but I wouldn't mind some fantasy names for backmarker teams that get sold/bought-out. I'm looking at you mod community.

Yeah feeling like a little tweaking could be done to the way the cars move. Minor gripe but will make a big difference

It looks beautiful. The sharpness of the image could be improved, but the colour and vibe the image gives up is spot on!

What I would love to see be that just more new teams can just join and more unpredictable things like your car is suddenly shit as well as way more tracks from older games like F1 2013

This looking real good, I love the detail of the parts, and how you can switch them, this means like in real F1 we will be able to pick the best parts for each race, smaller wings for Monza, bigger wings for Monaco.

Definitely looking like it's going to be great, always enjoyed motorsport manager but could never fully engage as it's just dots on a screen. I hope the drivers don't always listen to team orders though e.g if I told Hamilton to let Russell by i'd like to think he'd have something to say about it!

Graphics are a lot better than I expected. Only issue is from some 'camera angles' the cars look like they are floating or hovering an inch or two above ground and not really connected to the surface.

wow, this looks incredible. The CM/EA games could take some tips from them, especially with the sounds.

I don't think the sounds are generated on the spot. It sound like they are using recordings at the same turns from the real broadcasts

I have a question. As you know the highest teams (for the past 10 years-Ferrari, red bull and merc) Get more money based on where they finish in the constroctor champ. Will that be in this game

It would be sick to be able to put some data screens, like fuel or tyrewear or idk on your second screen, so it's not in the way of the broadcast!
