It is easy to forget how many people Jotaro lost at just 17: - He lost friends in Kakyoin and Iggy - He lost a friend and mentor in Avdol - He almost lost both his Grandpa and mother - And he didn’t really have a present father All that weight on a 17 year old its not surprising if he frequently cracked under all the pressure he shoulders.

I love the way they draw the eyes. Especially on Jotaro. He's so tough but this style makes him look like he has permanent puppydog eyes. It's adorable when he's sad or happy, but really intimidating when he's angry and the artists draws his pupils really small... Sorry. I just went on a rant here, I just love the art style...

I like the idea of Jotaro's PTS-Dio, suicidal thoughts and other heavier thoughts being represented through hallucinations of Dio. It really helps emphasize just what kind of shitty circumstances he and the rest of the crusaders went through.

Im still shocked how well they made Jotaros second side. Think about it. he may be shown as calm or cold But we must still think about the fact he was 17 year old boy on a death trip to save his own mother, getting into sticky situations, seeing his friends die, almost his grandpa too and killing a man in the end, almost dying in the process.

This means, that Dio still dead asking Jotaro for his death, like he still not in reality anymore, not alive, but still in his memory, what make him still dangerous in Jotaro mind. Sh*t, this is just epic. I can't stop thinking about what a big meaning of life and death author just put in that comic. Just 2-4 pages, that have more meaning, than my life, lol

I like the idea of people in the after life taking the form of their stands if they had one, since they are a projection of your soul or fighting spirit. Or maybe the stands would become their own person...

Oh my gosh! It’s so sad to realize how much really happened and all the trauma that has ensued on jotaro and everyone else. It’s so hard to watch this and to realize all the pain and suffering that has been caused. I was seriously crying when polnareff saw he was missing his legs!

Absolutely love this artist. They have a beutiful style and can capture emotions so sincerely. Something about these comics is so devastating yet comforting.

These skits always make me think how traumatising The Stardust Crusade was.

not to say that I've cried at every single comic... but really good job on voicing them.

I really like the final comic with all the parts of Jotaro. Part 3 was smoking and drinking but the future parts don't since it would interfere with their battles. Try to have a clear head after a suprise attack while drinking.

It really hurts listening to Jotaro and Dio talk in the first half of the video, here you have two broken souls discussing the events of how they came to become enemies through an unwarranted awakened ability, one trying to save his mother is thrust to deal with 100 year old trauma of Dio screwing around with his family. Like Jotaro said Dio could've been his great great grand uncle, he could've been part of the family, hell who knows maybe Dio would've been Benjamin, Joseph and Jotaro's mentor in haman. Dio didn't have to forgo ruining the Joestars and his own life, he could've accepted a good life being an adopted Joestar. What kills me more about this is the fact that after hearing Dio's past Jotaro wants to spare Dio his pity as a show of respect but Dio provokes a reaction and the hammer is thrown when Jotaro admits to feeling sorry for him, this leaving Dio conflicted because he's supposed to hate all the Joestars. But Jotaro affected him with his honesty, and Dio begrudgingly respects him enough not to beat him when he's already down.

Jotaro:stand users attract other stand users polnareff:attracting all the villains of jojo

I just noticed in the first panel (panels?), rather than being pissed like how DIO is, Jotaro is visibly *TERRIFIED.* No anger, no visible hate, just pure, outright fear.

Jotaro is like master chief in the books he's a person with a lot of fear but he perseveres because he wants to act like the guy to look up to but this mental trauma causes damage to a person making them not as strong mentally and physically he lost almost everyone in his life and all that remains is a resenting daughter who only wanted to be loved like his father. Jotaro is a strong person with a strong stand but there's always one weakness mental trauma. He never wanted to fight Dio or Pucci he was forced too because of the Joestar will he wanted a normal life what the Joestar will caused him to practically become a husk of what he once was. He wanted to die but he had to pull through for the ones he loves. The part 4 comic in this compilation fits perfectly he had love for Polnareff and he was always watching around because he is one of the last remaining people he loves from stardust crusaders.
