My heart goes out to Yookjjok. I was born with a similar condition. I have hydrocephalus and I had an encephalocele just like Yookjjok when I was born. I had to have surgery when I was 2 weeks old. My skull has mostly closed itself up, but I still have a noticeable coin-sized dent on the back of my head where it didn't completely close. Thankfully I've had a mostly normal life. I do need to be a bit more careful to protect my head, but it hasn't slowed me down and I'm still doing all the things I love. I hope Yookjjok will have the same good fortune I've had with this condition and that she'll enjoy a long and healthy life

Tough but understandable decision by the veterinarians. Right now Yookjjok is not having significant pain or discomfort from the condition, and she's still very young. Hopefully her condition doesn't worsen significantly and she can get surgery at some point so that she can jump and bounce around like her siblings :) Yookjjok also seems to have the most amazing supportive and relaxing environment, so she's definitely in great hands.

My thoughts exactly!! Not only that her caregivers are amazing people I can tell! The way her female carer is amazing I can tell she loves her soo much! ❤

I took one look at that lump and went “That’s a brain thing.” I’m so glad it is just fluid in the lump rather than her brain falling out! 😱 It’s incredible that it was actually that skull defect that SAVED her from worse brain damage! I can’t believe she hasn’t experienced horrible complications. Yookjjok is such a sweet little cat, I hope she stays healthy and happy as she continues to grow ❤

Extremely caring, kind & protective guardians over the cats on their farm. Yookjjok is very blessed to have such good & loving guardians who see the beauty in the lump that was termed as a "flower" & even reorganize the room so that this furbabe will not hurt herself against any hard objects. May Yookjjok grow strong and healthy and may the lump never, never, never increase in size nor impinge on her sight.

I wish I could understand but there are no English subtitles. It seems it may endanger the kitten if surgery is done, from what I can see in video. This couple is very blessed to care for these cats and their kittens. I hope the little one can live out a long life with the lump not pressing on any nerves or causing her pain, and can continue to do her kitten things - play and have fun without any problems, and none in the future. Also hoping it doesn't grow bigger. This couple goes all out for the cats with constructed materials, toys, beds, etc. Thank you for being such kind, loving people toward animals - your pets. You care so much for so many!!!!! I love that!!!!

That veterinarian had such a wonderful way of explaining how the lump worked and why it was in ways a good thing, keeping her alive so far. If i was there in the owners position that would make me feel so much better

Vet is correct it does look like puss has a flower on the head. Its amazing how instictively mother cat knew baby cat should not have head bumped at all thereby removing from rumbunctious siblings.

Adorable kitten blessed with good owners. Others may have thought to put her down because of her deformity. Surgery deferral seems reasonable for now since she's still young and it doesn't seem to be causing any serious issues. Reviewing options again when she's full grown is fine.

I've lost my cat yesterday. She's only 1 month old and passed away. I should've protected her but I couldn't. I can't control my feeling and feel so sad. I am pregnent with 6 weeks and I thought My baby and My Cat will grow together in the future. But now this will not be happened .

It would be important to spay/neuter? Pregnancy would cause her additional issues? Hopefully all the cats will be spayed and neutered to reduce the risk of her becoming pregnant.

The love felt here is so profound. I can't begin to express how heartwarming it is to see the immense amount of love that people and animals have for one another. I've cared for many animals throughout my life and I've always considered them family. It's hard when they have an illness or when you outlive them.
