Listening to whatever musicals Mariah covers songs from is the only way to digest new musical theater /j

Being able to actually see Judith grapple with these painful choices, rather than just hear it, brings SO much more to this song specifically.

Jessie Shelton's version is one of my favorite musical theater performances of all time, but I really really adore your version. It feels perfectly 'ragged with emotion', and oh boy did it make me feel feelings! Thank you for this!

A year late but I literally just uploaded my reaction to this cast recording and am consuming all of the content I possibly can hahaha What a great piece! Beautiful work, Mariah, as always ♥️

When I heard they were going to do a film adaptation of this musical, I thought, “OK but who else could possibly play those roles than Jonathan Groff and Jessie Shelton?” Well now I have a thought for Natalie/Judith! So beautiful!

Please explain how you knew that I've been obsessing over this song for the past week and a half, oh my god. The original has such a wonderful nostalgic/bittersweet vibe, and you NAILED it, fantastic job!!

I stop by and listen to this every couple of months; it has to be my favorite thing of all the things you’ve done, it’s so moving and beautiful.
