There are a few words for Peace in Scripture and the connotations, definitions are also connected to Completeness, which is necessary to have the entire concept of Shalom In Hebraic (and Scriptural) thought. In the Greek the word is G1515 εἰρήνη eirḗnē, i-ray'-nay; probably from a primary verb εἴρω eírō (to join); peace (literally or figuratively); by implication, prosperity:-one, peace, quietness, rest, + set at one again. To truly be at peace is to be complete. Shalom H7965 שָׁלוֹם shâlôwm, shaw-lome'; or שָׁלֹם shâlôm; from H7999; safe, i.e. (figuratively) well, happy, friendly; also (abstractly) welfare, i.e. health, prosperity, peace:-× do, familiar, × fare, favour, friend, × great, (good) health, (× perfect, such as be at) peace(-able, -ably), prosper(-ity, -ous), rest, safe(-ty), salute, welfare, (× all is, be) well, × wholly. My friends, be at Shalam H7999 שָׁלַם shâlam, shaw-lam'; a primitive root; to be safe (in mind, body or estate); figuratively, to be (causatively, make) completed; by implication, to be friendly; by extension, to reciprocate (in various applications):-make amends, (make an) end, finish, full, give again, make good, (re-) pay (again), (make) (to) (be at) peace(-able), that is perfect, perform, (make) prosper(-ous), recompense, render, requite, make restitution, restore, reward, × surely. Shalam, Shalom Aleichem, Aleinu, May It Rest Upon And Within You, And May We All Be Encompassed By It. In The Name Of The Messiah YaHUsHa יהושע of Nazareth, I pray yes, and Amên אמן. Love, Peace, And Elbow Grease Y'all!

@Geo HTX I'm not really an engineer since I don't have an engineering degree. But I am a software developer. There are two routes you can take. One is going for a degree through college. This route takes about 3 years. It takes time and it's kinda expensive. The other route is self-education. This means looking up what is being taught in college, opening KZread or Udemy or whatever, and watching courses. Most college courses you'd take you can find on the internet. Heck MIT has a whole semester of math and computer science on their KZread channel. This route of course takes dedication. You wanna make sure the lectures and courses you're watching are good and have credible information. Now, of course, the latter option won't get you a degree or anything, but in the high-tech world, it's less about degrees and more about the experience you gain in learning. That's why it's good to work on projects while learning. Whether if private, or contributing to an open source. Can increase your resume, and help you learn a bit faster and better. If you want some resources for self-teaching, here are some: Udemy - look for a course in whatever field that has the most students and the highest review rate. Tech with Tim - a channel on KZread of a pretty cool guy. Teaches just about anything related to programming. MIT on YT - MIT KZread channel has a few courses for math, data structures, and computer science in general. Professor Leonard - A KZread channel of a cool math professor.

Glad to know that there is a man left on planet Earth who still lives a man’s life. I had a walk yesterday with my 2 year old granddaughter. She held my hand. We talked about the crickets that we heard thrumming in the woods. We looked for the moon in a cloudy sky, and picked up sticks and a few pieces of straw along the way. I carried her on part of the return trip and she tugged on the leaves of some low-hanging tree limbs. I was completely filled up in the manner that you describe.

I think it's spiritual connection to something bigger than yourself. God is a very western concept. As a Hawaiian, we are polytheistic, meaning everything is divine., the rocks, the trees, the stars, even us etc. It's the recognition that we are all part of the divine. Its when we separate ourselves from that universal order that we are incomplete, lost, disconnected. All traditional tribal cultures knew this. They lived very harmonious with nature because being in nature demanded that your physical, spiritual and soul all be present in order to navigate it properly.

And I think it’s because I was neglecting my body too much. I never really cared about my physical self, I always just thought it was more of a “vessel,” that didn’t matter, especially since I’m gonna die some day anyways. But now that I hear this, I understand why I feel so much better whenever I go camping, or work on cars, or just go outside for a walk. This video genuinely helped me and really made me reflect and think. Thank you, genuinely.

Was just as curious about me as I was of him. That was the coolest thing to me. 🤗 gotta enjoy the small things man 🤗

Thank you - this video was confirmation that I need to get back on track and set a solid plan to move out of California. I lived in rural Colorado from 2007-2011 and it was the best time of my life. I miss that country lifestyle. I was surrounded by amazing people, we were all friends. I have no friends here in CA. My family has pulled me in so many directions with a career and college I feel drained and depleted. I want to sit outside on a patio until midnight smoking cigars like you and your wife. I hope I can make back there in time before it’s too late. Thanks.

You are so right and I know the feeling you describe so well. Personally, I have to go out into nature to feel calm. 2-3 weeks every summer, in a tent, fishing and living as simple a life as possible. Every evening by the fire is a blessing in itself and you feel a peace that surpasses everything else. I grew up in the 60s and unfortunately it seems that today's young people only have material needs and little desire to leave the sofa and comfort. Take care & God bless.

Dewayne, been listening to a numbers of your "spiels" (Yiddish for "talks"), enjoying every minute! It's encouraging to hear someone discourse on being self-reliant, developing their own opinions, standing firm in the face of adversity, being respectful of others' "territories" and ways of life, valuing physical labor and the work we are placed to do; even from an East Coast city slicker it all resonates! Honesty facing our own self is the key to having honest relations with others, thank you also for bringing up what might be some uncomfortable topics for some. You are welcome to have your say, I don't think anyone should begrudge you that although they in the end they may chooser to differ. I think you've become a source of common-sense information for many and we are all the richer for it. Peace and blessing, be well.

If university taught you the truly important things in life, in order, many would realize university are low on the list. That's their fear. So they indoctrinate women to forgo the idea of family & concentrate on school and finances while teaching men to question their identity & pursue a life outside their God given gender. This is the breakdown of the same family structure this gentleman is thanking God for

Well said. Born in 74. My wife of 29 years born in 76. You dont become a man or woman at 16 or 18 or 21. You must earn it. Everything you said is what it takes. Very few left who have the desire to do so. It seems its a lot easier to pretend to be someone or something else then to go out and earn a hood. Soft and squishy is not adequate enough to describe whats happening out there today. More like confused and unbalanced, unsure and lack of discipline. Great cigar and awesome chat. Cheers from the north.

My husband and I took our niece and 5 nephews to Arches National Park a couple years ago. They were ages 15-18. We decided to do a night hike up to Delicate Arch so they could see the stars (which wearing headlamps and hiking at night was an excitement for them). When we got to the top, it didn't take long and we saw them all lying on their backs (phones off), looking up at the stars and really enjoying the moment. And for most, they saw a satellite for the first time. It was truly awesome for 'aunt and uncle'!

I am in that boat now. I am in a position that all I do is work. I start work at 8am and don't get done until 10pm. I had a chance last night on my way back from picking up a vehicle by Bend Oregon to stop on the pass and turn off all the lights on my tow truck and saw the Milky Way for the first time in a very long time. It was amazing. I am working to get my personal vehicle running finally. It's looking like not until next year now. Maybe then I can find all 3. Had some serious problems with anger lately. If my fuse was any shorted I'd get mad breathing. Thank you for this. Hope all is well. God Bless.

Not even finished watching, but you hit a sharp point with me here. I got kicked out of my church in 2003ish by asking the pastor to explain to me how the Trinity can be Three when there is only One. He could not answer except that the church can not help me for I’m on a different path. Little did he know (or maybe he did) I was indeed on a more spiritual path. You sir, ~20 years later, have just made me whole by sharing this perspective. It’s like I had all the pieces to the puzzle but needed someone to help complete the border; like I did the puzzle backwards. I am son of David 💪 and David is in the name I am known by. May you be blessed for all your years. Liked and subbed, I’ll look through your other stuff tomorrow, going to sit on this for a bit. Thank you sir, from the heart.

The Sun is a good example often used to help us understand the Trinity. God-Father is the Sun, Jesus is the light coming from the Sun and the Holy Spirit is warmth. These three always exist together. Yet it's only one - the Sun. We can't be in direct contact with the Sun, as we will die. Same with God - the Bible says that no human being can be in direct presence of God and stay alive. But we can be in contact with light and warmth - Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Jesus calls Himself the Light, and the Holy Spirit is called the Conforter, so warmth represents Him well, too. It's warmth that we feel in our heart when it is touched by the Holy Spirit. I hope this analogy will help you to understand the Trinity better.
