The Mob were influenced by Raider Klan a TONNNNN, but to say they bit everything off sgp like a lot of people say just isn’t true. Rocky had peso and purple swag before he even knew about SGP, and his fashion mostly came from Bari. SGP and Raider Klan deserve a ton of respect and were hella influential but the Mob and Rocky both had their own styles (both musically and fashion) pretty well fleshed out prior to meeting SGP.

Give some examples of “half my favorite rappers” cause I don’t really see the influence besides Rocky early fashion and some Memphis sampled beats on testing. Purrp did not "steal" from the Egyptians or the skaters. There is a difference between stealing / appropriating something, and purposely using well known imagery to invoke something. Songs like 'Legend of the East Pyramyds' and 'Osiris of the East' makes it pretty clear that this is what Purrp is doing. That's not comparable to taking your friend's style and then claiming you took no inspiration whatsoever. DC did not steal the concept of clowns when they created the Joker, but if you make a movie called The Prankster about a crazy jester fighting vigilantes, you may be ripping something off.

That whole Clams Casino sound trickled down into mainstream music big time because of Rocky after LiveLoveASAP dropped. Drake gave Rocky credit for inspiring him on the linear notes of NWTS. Lorde talked about how she was listening to a lot Rocky while making Pure Heroine. Timbaland shouted him out in 2012 and it's obvious he took some of his sauce when he made 20/20 for Timberlake. Trapsoul by Bryson Tiller has a Live.Love.ASAP vibe on songs like "Don't". Self Titled by Carti was executive produced by Rocky and has clear Cloud Rap elements.
