Nooooo, that stinks dude! Hate to see the RADX-7 down, but I’m glad the rotors and rotor bearings seem to have survived. Keep up the good work and good luck at Snow Drift Rally!

Damn, that sucks to see 😔, but you took it in stride and for it diagnosed quick! One thing working on cars has taught me is that short cuts will cost you more than they save you in the end. Can't wait to see you doing this thing again!

DAMN, though luck man. That's sad news. But hey, look on the bright side. You got struck with bad luck before the rally. Now only good things can come on rally day!

Not gr8, still impresses me that you can get the engine out in an hour.😊

Man I had the same issue before. Used the incorrect pressure rated lines, and popped an oil line that runs to my oil filter. Also lost all my oil but luckily didn’t torch the motor (though later the bearings did go out) lesson learned, make sure the hose you get is rated for oil systems. I use transmission cooler lines now which goes up to like 200psi

You hate to see it, just took apart my turbo 2 to find a spun bearing, NOT IDEAL. still trying to hunt down parts. best of luck on the rebuild!

I had a rear rotor spin and bearing welded to the e shaft and front stationary gear was a pain to get the bearings off to disassemble the engine

Taking the whole engine out in an hour and a half makes my need to replace the coolant hoses on my RX8 look like child's play. I wish I had an indoor shop. But - I will do this work and get my car back to Deal's Gap this spring. Love the content, appreciate the education sir.

sorry to hear it Eric. I know of at least 3 other times pushlock hose has blown off oil cooler lines on friend's cars :( I've started only using it for coolant. Hope you get it back up and running soon!
