The music fits the video perfectly. This house is magical and beautiful. I can only imagine living here.

What I love the most is its character and style. Not like these new modern monstrosities of glass, metal, marble and concrete, monotonously decorated in black and white and fifty shades of gray! They all look the same and thoroughly cold and depressing. This house has warmth, charm, coziness and historic architectural features. Just lovely! I noticed the shoreline next door is eroding with trees in the water. Are the stone walls around the shore sufficient or will it need more reinforcement in the future? Or is this not a problem, and I'm overseeing things?

If this house was located in the 90210 zip code(or similar), they would be asking 9-figures for it! If it was in Malibu, they would be GETTING 9-figures for it! You don't see such ornate embellishments and incredible attention to detail like that in modern homes nowadays! It's old world craftsmanship that's almost akin to Tartarian style of architecture...almost!

@@Bblonde1962 yeah but LA is where its at, even though it is full of annoying hipsters and millenials and snowflakes etc... but its the centre of the TV, movie and music industry, no one can deny that, and statistically chattanooga has a very high crime rate/murder rate too, even though im guessing that this place is in one of the more upper class parts of the city where there are police patrols and better security

Atlanta is huge for music, TV and movies, and then Nashville of course. Just a short flight to Disney and Universal, along with the casinos in N.C. Not quite as developed as LA, but plenty of room to grow.

I think it’s pretty ugly. There are some great moments inside, but the stone they used outside is downright jarring, with all due respect to the Chateau lines. It’s like someone with money came in and said “build me the most expensive home in Chattanooga” to some local outfit that no idea what they were doing.

And only 5 miles down river from the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant.......No thank you!!

I’ve never seen a home before where the price was so much lower than the value. High crime in Chattanooga, low income, nuclear plant up the riverbend. Lots of reasons why people take a loss death, divorce, loss of income , took a hit in stocks, etc.

It is a beautiful home ... and I *_hate_* to be "that guy" ... but ... I gotta ask: *_All_* that square footage, all those amenities ... and *_no_* theater? 🤔

My house is half the cost and has 10 garage spaces 🤦

Oh woof! I think “timeless” is a major overstatement. I just see clumsy excess. Typical bad design, you see anywhere among the wealthy. every site line and many of the architectural details are tripe. Good luck. It may have worked in the eighties for dated boomers. But their time is done. I give this property a 2.5 million rating. Because it will cost a lot of money to strip all the heinous details from this clunker. Yoof.
