Ben, I lived and died by the Washington Senators baseball team in the late 60's. Could still name a typical starting line-up. Then the owner, Bob Short, moved the team to Texas and they became the Rangers. How, I wondered, could the nation's capital not have a major league team in America's game? After reading reading enough newspaper articles, the light bulb 💡 moment happened - it is not a sport it is a *business*. I swore off all professional sports forever, put my baseball cap on and went out to throw a ball with my friends. That was 54 years ago this season, and the angst and wasted couch time I've saved is incalculable. I honor and appreciate your shout-out to me and my kind, and I hope you recover soon. Btw, I did watch the game - Super Bowl (Taylor's version), and honestly thought it was a great game, featuring some wonderful plays on both sides. @@joyride1598Most of my play was at the Isle (now Horseshoe) and Golden Gates (now Bally's). Ameristar went downhill fast and Monarch is okay. Trendy is a good word for it.

A Knights vs Bruins finals would've been an awesome matchup last year and should've happened if it wasn't for those pesky Panthers in round 1 LOL I plan on a Knights playoff game in the spring can't wait TMobile is a fun arena

I always enjoy your sports perspective Ben, and I'm not trying to rub things in I'm confident the Chiefs were going to find a way although I admit time was getting short so that fumble helped. The wrong team was favored, people were betting as if the Chiefs were the same team they were at Christmas but they kept figuring things out. When in doubt bet on the better quarterback, and especially if you have the better special teams also

Ben, there is no excuse for taking the ball first after winning the toss. Plain and simple one of the biggest botches in Super Bowl history. Missing an extra point in the Super Bowl is inexcusable as well. It’s a tough loss to swallow.

If you believe a “fluke” play decided the Super Bowl, then I guess you forget who is under center for the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes wasn’t losing that game, just like 4 years ago when he broke out “wasp” to beat the Niners that day as well.
