Poodles are my favorite dog. I have had Standard Poodles and Miniature Poodles and now I want a Toy Poodle so bad I can't stand it. I have had Poodles my whole life and I'm now 52 years old. As I am a new toy poodle owner I found this very helpful and gives me insight as to why I am always pulling rocks/stones from his mouth. At 4 months he's so good to train and not so many little accidents anymore. He's a lot of fun and knows almost everything I say... Happy days ahead.
I have two Standard Poodles. They are very smart and very sweet.

I never knew the stuff about Poodles being a military dog
It’s not “PuDEL” in German, it’s “PUdel”. Sounds the same as in English.

Winston Churchill was another famous poodle owner. He was famously photographed with bulldogs for their patriotic and similarity in looks, but his actual dogs were mini poodles.
I wonder if all poodles are hypersensitive and why would they be that way?

@nickersonsherrillc They are ! They have “hair” not fur so they have less shedding ! But all animals- including humans - shed (hair skins etc)
So what was black?
