DISCLAIMER: I'm not responsible for any damage you do to your vehicle. This video has information I couldn't find when I did it, so I want to help someone out there in the same situation.
In todays video, I successfully installed a new oem clutch into my 1999 Hyundai Tiburon FX RD! This process will be very close to some Hyundai Elantra since they use the same clutch. I hope this video helps someone in need. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for watching and God Bless!!

Thankyou for dumbing it down
That's not the drain bolt bro its on the bottom has a magnet on it think 23mm. how you remove the transmission with the fork still bolted to the the lever that goes to the slave ? had to be a pain. you should remove the lever and it lets the fork swing free. also with linkage much easier to just un bolt the two 12mm that holds it to the bracket. just a few tips in case you need to do it again in the future

Thanks a lot bro!
Great vid. I’ll be doing a clutch shortly. This is a big help. What brand was that 6 puck clutch u pulled out. A stage 4 shouldn’t have been slipping on an NA motor.

Thanks! The 6 puck held for a while, it was an unsprung ebay one. The issue that I got into was, since I was tracking the car, the track prep was too sticky; so the clutch started to slip. After adjusting the clutch pedal too tight, the pressure plate applied too much pressure damaging the clutch disc. That's why I went oem exedy clutch and i was very happy with the results.
can I follow these same steps for a v6? and how long did it take you?

Hey what's up? Out cars have 4 bolts holding the crossmember, which holds 2 of the mounts on the transmission. Remove it and you should have enough space to drop the transmission. On minute 5:26 you can see it. Best of luck!

@@G2GBuilds hey thanks man im afraid mine actually doesn't have a cross member its the 03 gt 2.7 6 speed the front mount is on the actuall subframe itsself its been pretty complacated but can i take off the subframe some how with oit removing the whole engine?

I did my Hyundai accent clutch once and it was the same as yours. I had to remove the 4 bolts hold the frame and raise the car as high as possible in order to move the sub frame a couple inches to take the transmission. That wasn't that hard part, but just get the subframe back its was such a headache. I don't want to discourage you, but is part of the job.

@@G2GBuilds thank you man ill try that in the morning you really been a big help ill let you know how it goes again thank you
Great video. My daughter is using it on her 2000 Tiburon. We got the motor and tranny separated, past the pins,...then that's it. Starting fresh here in a couple hours. Any hints? Brute strength perhaps?

Try to have things clean up so it should go smoothly. Make sure to engage the fork with pressure place as soon you mate the tranny with engine.

Doesn't matter which gear is it make sure all bolts are remove, both axles are out, starter and afterwards, supporting the engine and remove all 3 engine mounts. PS. Don't forget to remove the gear oil.
