I'm doing a restore on my 02 Silverado and I was thinking I'd have to make my own version of this, so this is cool that this product exists. I didn't get this one he linked to because it has terrible reviews (it's the cheapest option, looks like) so I went with the RedWolf brand for a bit more.

No anywhere that has 12v power all it is is tapping into power for when the camera needs to turn on

This is a big deal I love my back up camera on my newer truck but am going to have to get bigger truck but probably going to be a standard version so am going to add the few things I like on my nice truck.

There's a plug between the main long loom/wire and the camera. You just unplug it about a foot from the tailgate and take it off like normal.

Yeah that wiring job is trash … woulda been way better running it up the to fire wall . That plug in the floor is just going to let shit in …

You'd think someone with the name Too clean would actually do a clean wiring job. Buy a soldering Iron kit and some heat shrink bro, and get rid of those wire nuts. Wire nuts are only good for temporary wiring or household use. Sorry but that 🔥 🗑.
