We had one in the UK where BT forgot to receive 999. Calls and instead people were expected to call 101 for pol /fire 111for NHS

Canadians and brits are so elegans because they spell words like "colour" all the way but we 'muricans are lazy so we drop the u in everything "color" So it would be kinda hard to do

I think it'd be better not to tell the public, it'd tell criminals that 911 isn't an option for people and there'd be more crime.

It's more dangerous to not inform the public, as people wouldn't know how to contact emergency services for fire or medical purposes. I also doubt crime would increase, as the message gives clear instructions on how to contact emergency services. It's not like the police vanished.

Christian Taff FNAF, really? Also, that situation - if it somehow happened IRL - would probably be easy to fix. Just tell the police to get their RPG's out and just blast them to bits. But they'll have to lure them to a place with not many people so there are no casualties for random people across the street in case the RPG somehow misses and goes straight into someone's face.
