This happened on February 21, 2014 when I was watching Spongebob Squarepants Procrastination, here's how it happened.... It was at around like 8:30 AM, while I was watching Spongebob Squarepants Procrastination at my Plaza Hotel located at 9903 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, Maryland, before the part of when Spongebob karate chopped the TV after the fish creeped out of the TV on Spongebob, the 911 Telephone Outage Emergency was issued. It said instead after the Alert tone: "The following message is transmitted at the request of the Worcester County Emergency Management Agency. As of 5:30 AM, A severe thunderstorm has resulted in a loss of power at the Worcester County 911 Center. Therefore, 911 service in the County will not be operating for the rest of the night. The service should resume at around 5:00 PM. Until then, in the event of an Emergency requiring law enforcement, the sheriff's office can be reached at 410-632-1111. In the event of an Emergency requiring the fire department or ambulance services, residents should call their local fire department who will forward any Emergencies requiring ambulance services.
