The delicious enchantment wouldn't be too bad of an idea, actually. Tastier food means it'll fill up more hunger. Imagine a steak with Delicious 3 and the whole food bar would be filled up instantly!

@TZ_ I’m pretty sure it was planned at one point but scrapped due to them being unable to figure out how it would transition into normal lava outside the soul sand valley biome. There was soul lava particles in the game’s code at one point I think.

This is real just in a unreleased version of minecraft

You can make such slime boots in a mod called "Tinkers Construct". You can also make a slime slingshot to throw yourself around, while the boots negate fall damage and let you bounce around. Best method of travel ever.
