People in the comment section are gross. People always think they have the answers to everything. They must live perfect, wonderful lives, because they seem to be able to critique those on reality tv when they see a 5-10 min clip of their life. She can be a mom and work. Being a stay at home mom can be a lot of work on its own and there is nothing wrong wanting to have a career. My mom had me when she was very young. She worked multiple jobs and went to school. Married my dad when I was 4 and has worked her way up in a career. My youngest sibling is 11, while us two siblings are adults. My dad passed away a few years ago unexpectedly. If my mom didn’t have her career, I can’t imagine the extra stress it would cause her knowing she didn’t have the savings or income after my dad passed. She still has a child to support. Being a stay at home parent can be good but having a career and independence can be good too. You don’t know what’s best for her or her family.

It's ok to be selfish as long as you're still a team player. This was only what Loren wanted and it has consequences that effect her child rearing mobility, putting way more responsibility on Alexei. No one said to not get a mommy makeover. But at least get it when it's more convenient- like when the kids are around 10. Being a parent means putting your family first. You're allowed to do what you want but it shows where your priorities lie and what's more important to your values.
